Avatar of Aiyana is one of those cards that I haven't fully figured how to best utilize. It's great for picking up expensive heroes like Raj, Soulslayer or Pathwarden but it trips me up when I come against a row full of heroes and one big construct. Do I give up the construct in hope that the opponent won't be able to buy it or do I go after the heroes, with the possibility of drawing monsters or a construct from the center deck? I guess it depends on the kind of deck my opponent has, but Aiyana is definitely not one of my favorite cards in the game
Can someone just clarify the tournament rule. Is it SOS and promo, best of three? Or just single match.

Celeric and I are just now starting our first game. Blame it on the holiday. We will try to get all 3 in today. Unless only two are necessary.
Agreed it's usually not very good. Although the first time I ever played SoS, I picked up a Path Warden, Lionheart and Honey Siren in one turn with Avatar! So I'll always have a bit of a soft spot for it. Love picking up Tower Askara and Syril with it too.
Darn. I didn't realize I had to do something to sign up for the tournament other than post here. Oh well. Next time.
Good games, Celeric. You killed me the first game after somehow pulling both Dream Machine and Weapon 303V in the first 5 turns. I thought I had you in the second game, but you pulled it out on the last turn. Good luck the rest of the way in the tourney.
Can I just say, Tarik is my favorite Monster across all sets. The amount of crazy stuff you can do with him is amazing. Just now in a game with tecwrtr I defeated him to copy Sadranis, and then defeated him again in the Void and then copied Sadranis again! There's a very good reason why he's my avatar
on that note. eye of void is my fav construct. crzy things you can do with it as well are pretty crzy. a bit expensive but certainly adds to the fun of the game
You mean Eye of Destiny? The enlightened construct? I'm not a huge fan. It gives you lots of options, but by the time you acquire it, you probably won't have much use for it.
yea I know YOU'RE not. fan lol I'm actually liking eye of destiny and raj A LOT. I really think it makes the game more enjoyable for me to play. I actually just ordered SoS and RoF physical versions of ascension. and I'll likely be ordering Pathwarden and other promos from the official site. these new cards made me buy the game honestly. I just had an epic game with onlyphoenix. it was extremely close and I had a lot of fun bc of eye of destiny.
I ordered a bunch of the promo cards (the one set, plus the individual ones I don't have) from their site a few weeks back and I have not heard anything about them shipping and they don't seem to have any way to track progress. I'm sure I'll get them eventually, but figured I should mention it isn't fast by any means. Looking at the forums there it sounds like these delays are normal for them. Oh well.
