Let me know when you would like to start our round two SoS tourney competition. Perhaps some evening when we can knock out three games in quick succession? Shucks, looks like I missed out on the other tourney (CotG) Oh well maybe next time!
Great to see everyone's having fun with the tourney. Ashraam still hasn't accepted my GC friend request so our matches are yet to begin.
Good games! That second game was extremely close, I was nervous when you picked up both Dreamers Glass and the honor tablet!
Congrats to Emos! After 2 close games, he's moving on in the first tournament. I'm going to go play some Nightfall, and lick my Ascension wounds.
Thanks, I thought I was going to get pounded on in the second game! I now see the value in picking up Everbloom early
I sent idrinkwater a GC request this afternoon for our match but don't think it has been accepted yet.
Yeah, no kidding. Everbloom may be my new favorite card. One point doesn't seem like much, but it really adds up. I didn't realize that there are so few cards that can make an opponent discard constructs in SoS. (Or at least it felt that way...)
Thank you! I will try and figure it out tonight... the tutorial was a bit hard to follow, i hate to admit.
Got a ref to this site: http://pockettactics.com/ and seems that the blogger here is a big fan of Ascension also. Notice: I have started writing a "Loser Guide to Ascension" as I feel I am the best person here to write this kind of guy so people can avoid some basic mistakes. I can write bit by bit when I have the free time -- which is minimal when I have all the things in my world to take care of. Don't hold your breath.
I think most of us found the tutorial hard to follow. There is a Nightfall thread under iPod games, and it has several links to boardamegeek.com which help explain the game better. Hope to see you soon.
It's an incredibly annoying card that breaks the flow of a good match, and one that shows up too often. I've had consecutive matches start up with the Rat King. And matches where Rats have stacked over each other...
