TtR iPad has never even had a sale let alone go free, despite it having issues as compared to the Pocket version.

You fought really hard in that second match though, I had my doubts right up to the end! The hero that allows you to purchase cards based on honor instead of runes won the game for me, I had something like 30+ cards in my deck at the end.
Yeah you squandered your chances that game. You had EoD before I got either of my lvl 7 units, just couldn't make use of it. Eye of destiny is strange and imo the most difficult unit to use in the game. The draw straight into hand opens a lot of possibilities, but the only way you can really stack is with power. You have to use runes to acquire units to the hand, so if they come straight in, they're usually of limited use rune wise. The main use I would think is acquiring infantry or attacking units and stacking with whatever else you have. Or Path Warden
I found the site we were going to use last Fall for the tournament - challonge.com. I can set up the tourn. - what combination of expansions would people like to play? We're more likely to get participants if we limit it to the original plus RotF and leave out the new ones, but I'm open to whatever.
Well, it sure didn't take long to fill up the 8 slots playing only SoS! Whatever you decide, count me in.
Why don't we make it a SoS + Promo tourny? It could be like an introduction tournament expansions and there are so many active players here, it won't be hard to fill. I'm sure we'll be able to find 16 people to join.

Try to restart your iPhone/iPad, that should make it work. I've had a constantly crashing game before, but a reset fixes it.
Good game Camzy, you piled up honours since mid-game like a roaring sports car from the rear. I think I lose much less than expected. Too bad the Black Hole came in a bit too late even though I worked very hard to banish the starters.
To win, you have to pick up decent on-board honor at some point. You either romp right through and get them right away, or take a few early turns building up some steam, but ultimately, you have to start converting and earn at least 20 honor from monsters/lifebound to win. I very, very rarely see someone win with less than 20 on-board honor.
