I just purchased the Storm of Souls expansion and the promo card pack. Looking forward to learning the new cards. One other silver lining about this. It means Playdek can focus their attention on finishing Summoner Wars. That one is going to be epic.
Great, that is why I cannot play any online game earlier. Instant-buy! I see some changes of how things display -- wait, still no in-game chat?! And still cannot see the "next game" thing...
Yeah that would be a good combo! It feels limiting to me, I'd really like to play with all three at once! And the deck reversed thing is definitely throwing me off too.

WTF ! It's not possible to mix all 3 sets A representive stated over there on BGG they faced some challenges and decided not to implement it again: WTF I'm totally disappointed !!! Why not take your time to solve this before releasing this limited/restricted version? My top one reason to buy SoS was to play with a larger pool of cards extending the overall strategies...
SoS is more of a sequel than an expansion. And it does combine wit RotF. The "Bundles" tab in the iAP manager has me intrigued...
Yay! I am excited about the new update. I only got the game during the last sale and I have yet to play online. I can only manage to beat the medium level computers about half the time so I would probably get demolished in a real game, but I guess it'll make me a better player. Still a bit intimidated though. Also, is the promo pack worth it?
I'm going to hold back on the promo pack for now. It seems like they will all be available in a bundle at some point... hopefully. I love the next game feature, but multitasking still kicking you back to main menu is jarring.
What an update. Kudos. Adjustable honor pool is something I've been hoping to see for quite some time. Such a shame that it is restricted to offline games.
I love the update except for this. I think it looks worse now due to the stark contrast between the Retina bits and everything else. Changing the music/theme was a great idea.
Got it! Dang old habit dies hard, always click the "menu" after a game... Minor issue: the app stays after the iPad shut down. When I power on again and click the app, I see the GC notification "Welcome back, ..." message and click "Online", the prompt says I need to login to GC before going online. The problem persists until I kill the app and launch again.
I bought this when it was on sale for a dollar since I had heard great things, but hadn't played it yet because of the lack of retina which seems like it would be incredible for card games with all the small text and such. Thrilled to see that update there not too long after! Will try it out tonight.
