Didn't expect it to be free either, but it does have expansions and, more inportantly, it's temporarily free to bring attention to Playdek's new release. Have NO idea why the Pard's Tale is free though. Just a nice gensture, I guess.
Wow nice, been meaning to pick this one up so will snag it now that I have the excuse. I am a big magic the gathering player in RL and this game was made by some of the top magic pros I have played against in tourneys so I have wanted to try it out. I have just started learning Eclipse though, and with the new arena added in Ravenmark Mercenaries I haven't had much time for anything else but I am sure I will get to this one eventually.
There's an update out now too with the next set of Promo Cards available for .99 Btw, they're seriously overpowered, but fun.
I already have the game. Question. If I buy the expansions, will I loose them when this game gets pulled from the app store when the Stoneblade version comes out?
This Playdek version is getting pulled around mid-2014. SBE are looking at options where you could get the expansion but there are no details right now. All the expansions are currently on sale for .99c and thats plenty enough incentive to buy em all.

I apologize for not checking the store before posting lol. But they have had 99c everything playdek sales before.
I've bought the game and all he expansions at full price and never regretted it as I've played this game for hours. Brilliant card game.
This app is so good I bought the cardboard version. It'll be a sad day when it gets pulled from the store but hopefully the Stoneblade version will be just as good.
