      [This port was mentioned in the Distant Star thread. I hadn't heard anything about it, and my searches here didn't show anything in either posts or forums, so I thought it needed a thread of it's own. If this is a repost, moderators should feel free to delete this thread.]

      Ascendancy was a 4X DOS game from the mid90s. Developers Logic Factory are updating and porting it to iOS devices, and it is supposedly in "late beta."

      The screenshots on the Logic Factory site look good, as does this video demo on Youtube.

      Btw I'm superexcited about this one! Ascendancy is one of my favourite games.

      Is nobody else excited about this? No news on a release date?

      In case anyone wasn't already aware, Ascendancy has been released. It's available on the App Store now for $7.99.
