As I recall, as a human I had to bring lots of Spearman (I forget the actual name now, I quit a week or so ago) - they get bonus damage against large enemies. Line the front with those, Longbowmen behind them. If you have Mechwalkers (Dwarf) put those in too. Calvary got smoked by the large creatures

Wow this game is awesome. I actually like it better than Heroes of Might and Magic. Played for 6 hours yesterday (first day) and have castle 8 almost done now. Playing as humans, is there troops of any other races I should get? (And can you upgrade them later if you get them?)
I enjoyed this game until yesterday when somehow my account is not linked anymore... got patron iap and some bundles, but there is literally NO customer support to help me get the game working again. I used the in game "support chat" which still hadnt been looked at in two days when I placed the ticket. Finally, I posted on their FB page, and was told to send them private message. Two hours has gone by (with them being active) yet no reply to me again. Lol. Maybe their company got "too big, too fast". I wish them, and you guys playing well!
They have 2 other similar reasonably successful titles (and a couple I haven't played) which did provide support and updates. They are not a bad company. It may be that this one is much more popular and they haven't staffed up yet, but I'm sure they will get to you eventually. Edit: well they became a publisher and not just a developer in 2016...so if this isn't a title they developed, support could be more complicated and past titles may not be a good benchmark for what you can expect. So I guess I was wrong, they could have an issue with support that will linger. Still, updates have been rolling out.
It's not something you can find literally anywhere, but I got a developer response to my negative review on the App Store which included a helpshift link http://lilithgames.helpshift.com/a/art-of-conquest/?han=1&l=en&contact=1 So they're using helpshift now and you should get an awful and useless response (I have anegative history with helpshift if you can't tell) quickly, and may get forwarded to the actual Lilith team eventually.
They got back to Me last night via FB messaging (the actual game account on FB). Traded some info all day while at work-- still waiting resolution Resolved-- about 4 days lost but going o continue to play
Does anyone know what happens when you change realms? Do you lose all progress or just your clan and city?
When you change realm you just start again on a new server. Think of it as an additional character slot. Can anyone who is playing on iOS confirm that their Game Center isn't loading the welcome banner when the game starts up? It's weird as other Game Center games do.
Apparently there is some sort of display limit that on certain devices means you have no wagons to rob. I'm high level for a FTP on my server because I've really been playing a lot, and apparently the game figures I don't need to rob, lol. They told me this, more or less, via FB message.
I somehow acquired a group of awesome scorpions to fight on my side. I initially had 7 or 9 but it's down to, two, of them. They are awesome tanks high armor and HP but it's almost a waste to use them, now... only having 2. I have 11/11 slots to use and using up 1 slot for 2-
The first server I played on, I had no problem seeing all the enemy wagons and robbing them. I changed servers, and now I don't see any.
Yeah, I tend to put the non-human troops I get on the wall for this reason. Else, casualties & you can't upgrade them anyway.
Thank is for this mate, I asked the devs and they said the same thing. It's weird but at least our games are safely synced to Game Center for backup.
I'm in town level 14 now so been playing a bit and I've only ever seen one wagon to rob. I see people escorting (and get told I can't attack them because they're escorting) but don't see their wagons. Really annoying since people keep grabbing mine.
I would also be interested to know this. If I am still in home city and have a useless noble house, do I lose anything by changing realm? Thanks
