Solve your way through a charming world packed with clever tactical tile puzzles on a quest to find somewhere you fit in, and connect the quirky communities you discover. Explore a different kind of RPG: a "role-puzzling" game. The story unfolds through a unique, interconnected grid that spans the entire world. When you move, the colorful environment moves with you — creating a playful sense of chaos and a regular stream of small, thoughtful puzzles that twist and play with the central mechanic. Jump into the adventure as Jemma, a small-town misfit on a journey of self-discovery. Travel beyond your stiflingly cozy confines to find an inspiring world — yet one that’s ruled by fear and a strange, immovable static force. Can you shake up a culture of stagnation and find a place to belong? A COLORFUL, CONNECTED WORLD • A unique gameplay grid seamlessly unites combat and exploration. Meet a cast of quirky characters, vanquish monsters and discover surprises as you move through the world. • Swipe to slide up, down, left and right. Objects within the same row or column as you will move when you move, creating a wide variety of interesting puzzles. CLEVER YET ACCESSIBLE GAMEPLAY • There's no XP or inventory to manage in this breezy puzzle RPG. All game objects exist on the grid, and you maneuver them into place as you move through. • A straightforward quest log gives you one goal at a time. In-game assist options can point you in the right direction and let you skip puzzles, so you only get as stuck as you want to be. AN ALL-STAR DEVELOPMENT TEAM • This is the debut game from a team of indie developers including the artist behind "Braid," the designer of "Ethereal" and the writer of "Carto." - Created by Furniture & Mattress. Perfectly suited for mobile. Puzzle fans will really love this. I am quite enjoying it but keep getting that feeling that I’ll eventually get stuck at a difficult puzzle. It’s a really good game. Worth spending the time working out the mechanics. Tricky, but very, satisfying when you work something out. I got really stuck early on but figured there must be a way, and there was. Really cleverly designed and beautifully implemented. Not to mention the fact it looks and sounds wonderful! Sometimes, you might find a way forward with sheer luck. But it’s very satisfying. Overall the game is brilliant. Innovative. Fresh. Special mention of the characters and writing. Absolutely charming. And if you are new to puzzle games, this a great place to start. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,692 218 63 #13 agreen437, Jul 27, 2024 Ok gonna give it another go puzzle games are not my cup of tea but the game itself is really fun Roxton, Remote_, Boardumb and 3 others like this. It gets better and better as you play and is, without doubt, going to be a very easy contender for my game of the year. So clever, so full of fun moments and never annoying. You know the solution is there - you just haven’t found it yet. Once you get that mechanic it’s a joy finding solutions to the puzzles. I honestly haven’t enjoyed a game this much in a long, long time. Just objects that complicate maneuvering the sword. Movement is blocked if and only if your movement would push an object (or yourself) into a static tile. Anotherkellydown likes this. It’s almost like I needed to know there actually was a solution. Lol Roxton Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jan 30, 2015 169 89 28 #20 Roxton, Jul 31, 2024 Yeah, one thing that really helped me analyze the puzzles was realizing that it’s impossible to push something around a 1-tile-wide corner. (Unless you have second path to get to the other side, that is.) Portal has item-dropping gates. Arranger has corners. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anotherkellydown likes this.
