Has anyone completed all of the accomplishments? Is "Brute Force" working? I've sure I've completed it at least five times so far.. It (Brute Force) also doesn't show progress like some of the other accomplishments. Steve
All? No, most though. Lost interest after running through the campaign 3 times and considering just how much time in Endless grinding the last 5 achievements will take (need to upgrade 3 units, which will give me the "all upgrades"), and the last one is just pure luck: Self Destruction. If it can be earned in Endless I'll probably get them all at some point, if you have to kill him in the Campaign, probably not. Yep, best strategy is to restart the campaign and grab it early when mobs are weak.
OK, just completed five waves in a row and still did not complete the "Brute Force" achievement. It says: "Complete five waves without using a special ability." Isn't the special abilities like the Boomstick? thanks, steve
I've completed all achievements BUT the Brute Force Achievement. Trying different permutations of not using boom stick, only using troops, only using Ash, not using "wrong book" or any other special levels ... and still can't get it. Even starting from scratch.
This game is excellent. I have completed twice now. I have never known a ame that has compelled me to play over and over like THIS. This is a little gem in the app store - and for less than £2 !!!! How many console owners can say that?
Is there a way to get "stay with the book" achievement without buying IAP gold to upgrade your units well beyond the strength of the enemy wave? Edit: Also, is the achievement of not letting any enemy past the courtyard working? I did this on one of the early waves (1-3) and didn't get it.
i was doing good until i reach wave 40. tried so many times still can't win. my swordman is level 10 and arthur is level 5. keep spamming them doesn't work at all.
Me, too. This game compels me to play just one more level, over and over. I was up until 3:30am playing this game when I first got it.
Level 11 peasants, sword boy, max Ash, max oldsmobile, and lvl 2 healer finally cleared lvls 49-50. Head to head would be fun with this app.
i'm in endless mode right now and i'm stuck not stuck in the sense that i can't kill any monsters, but stuck in the sense that i'm at the enemy's gates and there's no way for me to end the game and die my troops are literally 2-3 shotting everything on the field and i really hope the game can end soon so i can collect my money and upgrade my units has anyone had this problem? my score in endless mode is currently 27756300
I loved this game. Anybody know of a similar game in the app store that is Castle Defense but with a controllable character? That was what made it so fun for me. I've been searching itunes for one but have had no luck.
Okay, I give up. I cannot figure out how to get the chainsaw in this game. I've upgraded Ash to the max, beaten the first 49 levels, and gotten tons of gold, but I don't see any option that allows me to use the chainsaw. Can someone tell me what obvious thing I'm missing?
That's bizarre, I'm now still on Ash upgrade level 9 and wave level 30 and I've already use the chainsaw. Forget how do I achieve it though. Maybe somebody else will tell you about it.
Chainsaw You buy the chainsaw for $4000. On the upgrade menu click on Ash you should see a punch icon for $50 buy it . Play one level and go back to upgrade menu and you should see the chainsaw icon. Let me know if you still need help.
Hmm, maybe Trenches / Stenches. Legendary Wars is okay too (if choosing line of attack can be considered controllable, )

I just did it with nothing but maxed-out Arthur and swordsmen, and with maxed-out supershotgun and deathcoaster (and a pit and a maxed-out blacksmith). The first coaster comes available right when things get hard, and makes more than enough silver to grab Arthur.
