I'll take that Just wanted to say hi and if you have any questions, please let me know! Cheers Gerald db2 Well-Known Member Oct 13, 2011 157 2 18 Michigan, USA #7 db2, Oct 30, 2016 Okay, finally got around to trying out the demo. It definitely has a very Battleheart feel, and appears to have more variety in equipment, not unlike Diablo. The straight top-down view, while looking a bit unusual, makes it very easy to be sure you're tapping on what you intend to. That's what irritated me the most about Battleheart: the drag-oriented controls, with characters getting all bunched up. This is much more small-screen friendly. I like how there's an option to automatically target a new enemy when the selected target is killed. And I can see how there may be specific situations where you don't want that to happen, so it's good that it's optional. Downloading the full version now. Zuzax Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2010 52 0 6 #8 Zuzax, Nov 2, 2016 How exactly does the Threat mechanism work? The default is 100%, which I assume means all characters are targeted equally. So, if I equip a fighter to have 120% threat, and a Cleric to have 90% threat, which one is the AI going to go after: the higher threat (Warrior) or the easier target (Cleric)? Cool game. I like how I can grind lower levels as much as I want (with diminishing returns, of course) to get past some of the harder levels. Needs a way (or maybe I'm missing it) to quick select a character in combat when everyone is all wadded up on top of each other. Sometimes I really need my Warrior to throw a Taunt and he's kinda buried. gfactoriser New Member May 16, 2016 2 0 0 #9 gfactoriser, Nov 2, 2016 Hi! Glad you enjoy the game so far. Threat is based on the damage that you do (like WoW). Unlike WoW however, healing doesn't generate threat so the Cleric doesn't need threat reduction. The percentage is a multiplier of your damage. 120% threat means that 100 damage will generate 120 threat. In late game (world 3 and beyond), finding an item with a good threat boost (+50-60%) should be enough for the tank to keep aggro, as long as you don't go and hit all different enemies with the rest of your team. At the same time, a nice -Threat item on a DPS that keeps drawing aggro might also be a good idea. Don't forget some of the DPS have aggro dump abilities as well! I thought about adding quick select buttons but decided it would cause too much UI clutter. If it's any help, heroes are ALWAYS selected before enemies so you should be able to select the tank even if enemies are on top of him. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
