I not even going to buy the first generation iPad. It's basically just a giant iPod Touch. Btw there are a few of these threads already...
Too late, I wouldn't be surprised if my pre-order would be rejected due to short supply. I'm not buying one though. So I don't care.
if i can tether my iphone to it, then i might consider it. otherwise i'll buy something from one of their competitors that i can tether it to
Isn't home where the big things are? All the stuff that's too clunky and uncomfortable to carry around outside?
If it had multi-tasking, I might've considered it, but I can't even write a research paper on it without considerable hell.
I do want an iPad but I've been burned before on a new apple product ie: iPhone 1.0! here's my $600 Mr. Jobs. Than 1 month later he drops the price $200... I'll wait till v2.0 iPad comes out.
No I will not what an Ipad is is to close to an itouch/phone they need to seperate them more clearly as well as support flash for that is my biggest concern...
I think it will be easy enough to switch back and forth between Safari and Pages... Im mainly using this thing for notes, not research papers.. as well as Powerpoint Lectures... my laptop is ok but when I put in my textbooks its just too heavy to use everyday
Hmm.. no I think I prefer to wait for the next iPad gen, which will probably have a iSight Camera. Read this article for iSight Camera: http://www.cultofmac.com/apple-job-posting-hints-at-ipad-2g-with-isight/29705
Yeah, but I'd have to save my work, press the home button, wait for Safari to reload, get my info, hit the home button, reopen pages, and reopen my document. No thanks.
