So I got a phone call a couple hours ago and they were apparently offering me this entry level sales job and some company which's name I didn't quite catch. They told me a now graduated senior that I've never talked to said I'd be perfect for the job and I needed some extra cash since I'm still in school. The only way they could've figured out that I know this person and get my number would be Facebook. This happen to anyone else? Either companies are using Facebook to recruit, or there's a new scam going on. I'm kinda leaning towards scam.

I've heard of this happening. The fact that these people can recruit you that easily, is just to show how much Facebook cares about your privacy (ex; your home address, number). It's pretty sad and I hope Facebook gets their act together and fast. Their currently the king of web and to keep that position they should at least consider their peasants (us :p) wishes.

I've been getting similar calls, but to my home phone, not my cell, which is what shows up on Facebook.
