I know this isn't the best place to ask, but knowing that this forum has a variety of international members, i would like to know if anyone has any information on the colleges mentioned below. Are any of these colleges well reputed for a graduation course? United States *Andrews University, Berrien Springs *Michigan Technological Institute (Michigan Tech) *Illinois Institute Of Technology, Chicago *Milwaukee School Of Engineering (MSOE), Milwaukee *North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo *St Cloud State University, Minnesota *Polytechnic University, New York *Russ College Of Engineering, Athens *University Of Missouri - Kansas City, Missouri *University Of Miami, Florida United Kingdom *City University, London *Lancaster University *Sheffield Hallam University *Leicester University Australia *Deakin University *University Of Queensland *University of New South Wales
Leicester is where my sister is doing her Ph.D... I know it was awarded University of the Year for 2008/9...
I'm from england soooo. City University, i think, is quite good same with leicester the other two I don't know about
Lancaster is one of the "new" universities opened in the 60s, rated 10th of 113 out all UK universities according to the Good University Guide, and 7th for research according to the latest RAE. Sheffield Hallam is one of the "new new" universities, still branded as an "dodgy ex poly" in a manner which is more prejudice than genuine reflection of quality. It is the 6th largest university in the UK, apparently. To the OP: What course are you planning on studying? Universities can have very different reputation in different subject?
Polytechnic University, New York University Of Miami, Florida These are both good schools. At the U, lots of bikinis! For engineering, Cal Tech, University of Michigan, UCLA also good schools.
god i miss that place, everyone is sooo relaxed, you don't get mugged and the weather is amazing (i lived there from 4-11) I went back this summer, I was 14 and in a bar and they didn't even ask for ID, it's bloody brilliant
Bikinis is not exactly what i meant by "good" colleges but thanks for the info And I'm going to start my graduation course this year. These colleges are the ones which have a tie up with a college in my country. It's a special course where I study 2 years in my country and the next 2 in one of these colleges.
For Australia, I can say University of New South Wales is reputable and although you didn't mention, University of Technology Sydney is as well.
You forgot the University of Hawaii, where all the classes are being cut being cut because the administration can't handle budgets but also want to make sure they get their big paychecks. Wooo!
