I saw it yesterday and was quite surprised! Much better use of those tiles, especially right on top of an enemy!
That's interesting, I didn't touch the last one for that very reason--just too white and sterile. At least this one looks like a dungeon, or should I say, tower. Still on the fence though. Is there a clear objective? Like on the 20th floor you'll find the Sword of Yendor or the like...?
finally got the game but there are 2 questions i wanna ask...1. how do you play the daily challenge? as it says you can play the daily challenge but i cant find a button to proceed. 2. how do you chabge your game name? ai ve seen people with different name on the score board, cant find the menu to change my name also. thanks for helping !!
1. Short answer: you need to wait until today at 0:00 GMT. Explanation: there's a problem with some texts on the iphone 6, only the first line shows. It should say "You can start playing Daily Challenge in about 11 hours and 20 minutes." The reason for this restriction is that if you could play right away, you'd be able to uninstall, then reinstall and play multiple times. 2. The name that appears on the score boards is your Game Center name. I think you can change that in your settings or something like that. Thanks for playing!

Haven't had a chance to play a whole lot but Arcane Tower has inspired me to re-download Power Grounds so I can play both. Because they're excellent. I find Diego's roguelike's much more accessible than similar games like Nightmare Cooperative. The only other game of this sort that I've really enjoyed is 868-HACK. The simplicity of the rules combined with the emergent depth really stand out. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite of your three games. Love this. Question -- what are the green high scores on the regular high score table? I just got my best ever score in a normal run but it's below all those green ones, many of which are lower than the score I just got. Does that mean they won, so regardless of the point total they're ranked higher? That'd make sense.
Yeah, agreed. I believe that's how 868 Hack does it as well. I think that means I'm officially the player with the highest score who has never won. Cool?
There's a very important hidden rule in Arcane Tower. Useful if you want to win while getting a lot of score: duplicate tiles always appears on levels 4 and 8.
An update just came out. It fixes some visual bugs for the iPhone6 and iPad retina. It also adds a local leaderboard that stores your best 12 scores. There are some minor in-game tweaks too.
Buying this game just because how awesome the DEV is here on the forms and I want him to continue and explore what he's good at...making games. I already have a full 128gb phone full of games that I haven't touched... Damn! You world of iOS $1-5 games, dams you!
