@nullzone: up north lolll I'm running the last iOS 6 ver. on a NON jailbroken iPod 4. When I try new apps I always do a soft reset and/or a cold reset to give me more chance of succes. But this time no luck. :-( I know my device is old , but no plan for now to change it. So i'm stretching it as far as I can. For the error log... Where I can look for that log?
Up north? I'm not a native speaker, mind explaining that one to me? Crashlogs are under Settings - Privacy - Diagnostics & Usage - Diagnostics & Usage Data. They have timestamps, so best go by those if you cannot find one with the game name in it. Copying/sending them directly from the iDevice is a huge pain. Better sync with a computer, and then look for .ips files. Cannot remember right away where they end up.
Perfect game i plays it like maniac! *Please make a Space Crusader (Quest) Clone with Alien Play feature
EDIT: Those posts I refer to below are gone, so the context is missing now. My gratitude to whoever of the moderators took care of this! That's not a review, that's just impolite and spewing accusations. If you make grand claims like "fake & planted reviews" , better bring good evidence to the table. Oh, and for anyone else reading this who might be worried about the advertisement positioning problem: Lordnedox - the developer - is aware of it, and working to resolve it. See a page or two back in this thread.
And next question and feedback The starting skills of the heroes are all listed as e.g. "Summon 1" . That gives me the impression that there are higher levels of those skills as well. If yes to the above: do they rise (automatically) as the heroes gain levels? Can I replace them with higher versions at some point? Gave the Assassin and Evoker a twirl, leveled them both up to 2. Assassin I like very much, but the Evoker I found a bit disappointing: while the Minotaur (I think it was) summon is okay as tank, I don't need another one of those. And as damage dealer he is pretty underwhelming, unfortunately. On top of that, the attack/defend bonus for being next to your Summon only seems to trigger when you are directly next to it, diagonal doesn't appear to work. That would actually make the Evoker/Summon combinaton a lot more viable in my opinion, if the bonus would be activated when the Summon is on any of the 8 fields surrounding you. Replaced the Evoker with the Elf using a melee weapon, good first impression. The additional movement synergises nicely with the Assassin, to set up backstabs. And he can use a spell of choice; for now, I just gave him healing, but didn't need it yet. Wish there was a second character with the "Disarm Traps" bonus the Dwarf has. I find him pretty much mandatory for my playstyle. Without the 3rd disarm die, I very often need several tries to disarm the ever-present traps, and they explode more often as well.
Hi, thanks for your suggestions, I will take note for a future update. To answer your question, there are certain spells (we might call these hero abilities) that you cannot equip/unequip, and they automatically improve at certain levels of the hero. E.G. At some level (3-4, can't remember) the evoker will be able to evoke a much stronger Stone Golem. Regards
Thanks for clarifying, Nedox! Very much appreciated. If you ever find the time to do so, can I suggest (again, think I said that before ) to compile all that information and put in on your website? Saves you the trouble of including it in the game, can be updated more easily, and keeps you safe from me popping up every day and asking things
I reprodcued the "two heroes on one spot" bug again: This time in the third bounty level. From the room with the level boss, I moved my Elf, Assassin, Ranger (in that order) northwards. All 3 have high movement, so I could send the other two on their way while the Elf was still moving. The Ranger I could move onto the same spot as the Assassin. I think the trigger is that the game had to deal with 3 moving characters at once, all with long move paths; and that for the third hero the check for "is this spot occupied?" fails. I tried again, and trying to move the 2nd hero on the same spot as the first while the first still moves did not work. So for two heroes the check works.
I like the game a lot. I bought the full pack and I'm enjoying it. One main question, When it says "abilities improved" on some level-ups I haven't noticed any improvement. My base spells have the same cost and effects as previously. What am I missing? My evoker is level four and still summoning minotaurs.
Levelup mainly improves your Health and Mana, and which equipment you can use. Lordnedox (the developer) wrote earlier that at certain levels heroes' innate abilities improve as well. E.g. Evoker gets to summon a Stone Golem on level 5, I think it was.
@Nedox: Is that on purpose, that the weapon special "get another adtion" only works once per turn and does not create a chain? My Ranger has a bow with that ability, and rolled 2 stars in succession. But only the first one gave an extra action. The second did not. I understand there might be balance considerations for this. On the other hand, in the rare instance you roll several stars in a row, I think you - or the monster - should benefit from it. If I remember my dice math correctly, chance for that is only 1,44% anyways, so it shouldn't be a game breaker (I assume there is only one star face on those d6) .
Wall of Fire 2 spell: Very few battles last 6 rounds, so it feels like a waste for that cost. Could you consider to either (both feels a bit much, that'd be more appropriate for lvl 3): - increase the damage by 1/round - make it affect two targets In any case, if you should go with one of the above, reduce duration to 3 rounds.
Hi, at level 4 the Evoker should be able to evoke Stone Golems. Are you sure she still has the Minotaur spell?
Hi, I found it, it was a huge bug on my side, all abilities are never improved. I will fix it right away and release the update as soon as I can. Thanks for the report!
Looks like I'll wait for the bugfix before playing further then. When you are done with it, I would like to know if it will work retroactively, or only affect new heroes.
It will work retroactively, for new and already saved games. I'm afraid the update will take a while. On Android/WP I can update in a few hours, but on iOS I must wait a week. At the moment I already uploaded the update for the wrong oriented AD banner, and an important bug on equipment management. Once that's approved (hopefully within 2-3 days), I can upload this new update, which will also include the players created quests section (just finishing the tests).
No worries, I know it takes while with Apple You know that you can ask for expedited review? But I don't know if this bug would qualify for it, as it is not a total gamebreaker (like e.g. a crash on startup) . Thanks a lot for the great support, Nedox! Equipment management bug? I didn't notice yet, luckily. Something I should be worried about?
I also don't think I would qualify, hopefully it won't take too long. I prefer not to reveal the bug on equipment, as it could make the game a lot easier. However it does not break the game
