This definitely depends on the game, but I probably prefer tilt controls when implemented very well, such as in Cavernaut. I heard so many people saying, on that thread, they did not want to play, because they don't like tilt controls. Boy did they miss out on fun game! One of many games with great tilt controls.
OH, HELL yeah!! LIKING the looks of this! Man, riding a horse seems so natural for a runner, don't it?!! Got an Android version, too! Getting that one! #
Feels like a well made proof-of-concept rather than a fully fleshed out game. Seems decent enough, better animations and a bit more polish, could be great. Gotta love the developers name, kinda catchy.
Actually in all of my touch screen gaming experience there's only been two games that I've actually enjoyed playing with tilt controls. The first is cavernaut. The second is Chase & Hunt. Both of those games do tilt absolutely perfect and the games themselves really shine with tilt. But that's it. In this game it's just too much. I'm moving the device all over while swiping and keeping track and dodging. I don't assuage others from playing how they feel is best. What I do fight for, however, is diversity in the control schemes of games so that players can do just that. Touch controls can be done perfectly in this game. I've given up a perfect idea for how they could be implemented. It's up to the devs to go forward with it or not. And BOOM goes the dynamite. Billy
Hi Billy, We had a chance to discuss your feedbacks in detail and I would like to let you know that both "double currency" and "disable ads" IAPs are unanimously accepted, as well as the addition of touch-centric alternative controls. You can expect to see these improvements in our early updates. The only think we want right now, is to focus on Arcane Knight and make it one of the best games of its kind. Thank you again, for your very positive feedbacks and support -Emre
Will there be added movement of the character? I think there should be some kind of movement on horseback - seems too static at the moment.
Awesome! I'll be purchasing both as soon as they appear in the game. Then I'm going the be beheading a lot of sob's ! Lol Thank you emre for being willing to listen to feedback. I really respect that. I know it's not easy to watch people discuss something in sure you've worked so hard on. If I didn't like the game I wouldn't bother giving feedback. You've made a unique game. I look forward to lending some financial support. Billy
Great news. As soon as the update hits, you'll have my sword (and hopefully some money to go along with it). Really sounds like you are
I don't normally jump for ftp endless runners, but the M&B vibe and extremely positive and responsive developer presence here in the forums have convinced me to give this a go! I will most likely spring for a currency doubler/ad removal (I personally like it best when a purchase like a currency doubler is also the disable for ads.) I would also be down to spend for permanent IAP like additional characters (perhaps with some distinct attributes/abilities / male/female avatar selection.) I second the comments regarding improved animations from watching the video so I am happy to see that addressed in the upcoming update. Count on my money when it drops!
Too Much Grinding Hello, all! frisbee10461 here! With one exception, this is a great game. There is far too much grinding required to be able to get decent equipment. As a result, the gameplay is more about the grinding. As a suggestion, the developer should lower the rates to get weapons or skills required to get weapons. As an example, to get an arrow that adds HP, I have to have a strength of 10 [which means I must grind for nine levels on top of the levels it took to get the previous arrow]. In addition, the coinage granted per session [even with the double coins for watching a video is far too low compared to the price of a weapon. Land Sliders is a great game that balances gameplay and advancement. It is challenging without being overwhelming. As a result, I deleted this game. When the devs make acquiring weapons easier, i'll reinstall it. Just my two cents, frisbee10461
I've uninstalled the game for now. When an update drops that has some of the changes and additions discussed I'll definitely reinstall and spend some money. Billy
The first major update to Acrane Knight is available now!.. Whats New in This Version? - A brand new game mode with 50 different missions: Campaign. - Multi-language support. - New in-app purchases. - Lots of improvements and adjustments. - Some bug fixes.
Wow! So I was going through my purchase history and I completely forgot about this game. The devs came through on a ton of suggestions and now I really feel bad. I usually follow up on these things. So I just got done playing and here's what they added: 1) ad removal IAP 2) coin doubler IAP I purchased both of these as I said I would. It is worth it to me. The coin doubler was a tad expensive but it's ok. They added a new area which I haven't gotten to yet. What they didn't add, which I'm still begging for, is a different way to control the game. I outlined a different touch control scheme that would work. I still find the default controls a bit hard to get used to. But it is a great game and it is fun. Billy
