Not the best indicator of whether a game is good or not. She's generally rubbish at everything that isn't a puzzle or adventure game.
Glad to hear it! We've found the one thing that is tripping people up is they either don't read/learn that you can stop the ball mid-air to shoot again (it's highlighted in the tutorial on level 5), or they fumble with the mechanic anyway (especially dedicated puzzle gamers used to a more relaxed pace). We've gotten messages about it, and once we explained it, people were able to do much better, and the game just clicked.
I like this mechanic of stopping the ball mid air. It reminds me of a game called Flaming Core however that game is full of ads unlike this premium gem
I’m now on Level 10 in the Water Temple and still nothing but absolute praise. I literally have to force myself to stop playing in fear that I might finish the game too soon! Oh, and regarding...she...who was aforementioned...how in the world is it so hard to grasp the idea that a ball would have absolutely no momentum shooting out of slime?
Honestly it's a big deal for me as I have been a fan/follower of TA since almost the beginning. So glad we encouraged FromLefCourt to let us help him bring it to the mobile space! Thank you for the congratulation @Anotherkellydown !
Thanks for the clarification about being able to stop the ball. I did miss that, but now that I can it's a game changer!

I'm on level 4 of the water temple and was wondering if anyone else has this issue with the ball going through the wall mechanic. I find that the rune that makes the ball go through walls is not activating quickly enough. For example, when I shoot the ball at 50 strength it hits the rune but before it goes through anything it just bounces right back - almost like there's a delay from when you hit the rune to when the ball actually goes through walls. Because of that delay, and the speed of the ball that I'm firing it, the ball just bounces off the wall before it recognizes that it should go into "going through wall" form. When I change the strength to 47, it hits the rune, goes through the wall but it's not strong enough to get to the gem. Anyone else experiencing this? I think I had this same problem on a previous level but was able to tinker with it and beat it. Aside from that issue, great game devs!
Hey, we've been alerted to that issue, and should have a patch out (hopefully) today to fix that. We're working on it right this second. Glad you like the game! (Edit: in the meantime try power 60, it seems to work for most players)
Quick update: Fixed, and working on getting the patch submitted shortly. Edit: Unfortunately a new minor annoyance popped up, after 2 days of working on the last fix. We're almost there...the woes of being such a small team.
Awesome stuff. I had that very problem earlier on, but managed with a bit of trial and error. Water Temple, Level 31. Still loving every single second of this.
Yeah, it seems it was a silly little thing that was suddenly gumming up the works, but a bunch of levels will feel a whole lot better after this update. Thanks a million for all the kind words and support. This is a pretty great community (from my limited time here).
