Hey, I have a 32gb 2G iPod touch. My twitter ID is OrgnlDave. I have only beta tested my own iOS stuff, and Solomon's Keep by Raptisoft. However, I've also got ~12 years programming experience, 4 of which are paid (huge hobbyist), and lots of beta testing is obviously involved in that. Also I love western 3D RPGs. Morrowind (though not Oblivion, especially by the endgame it got BORING), Fallout 3, The Quest, the Metroid Primes and Zelda: Ocarina of Time are all favorites. Orcs and Elves 1&2 and Doom 2 RPG were pretty cool too, but not really deep. I've played a few MMORPGs but they never drained the life out of me, thank God. And yeah, the Metroid and Zelda games I listed count, even if they're not technically WRPGs; they bear enough similarities. I'm also a writer and can proofread as I go along, if you want. I don't usually offer to beta-test because not that many games are interesting enough to bother but Aralon is certainly an exception. I've lots of experience breaking games to heck and if you give me some technical details on internal game scripting/mechanics I can also find obscure bugs that would only show up regularly when there are tens of thousands of players - I've done it before, ask Raptisoft I guess I'm not too funny, unless I look in the mirror. edit: apparently although I can proofread, I can't actually read. Missed the boat. Oh well, I'll probably play it eventually. There are other things to life after all.
It is fun doing beta testing but it is even greater too play the finished game. Thats what Im wating for!
Eh, I'm not gonna get all down on myself that I didn't get in, but I really hope this game comes out soon!
Josh can we expect the download files soon to start testing? Are there parts we will test or is it the whole game we will test? Il be watching this topic thats for sure
