bbbbbbbbbbb how does posting in the forums help you find it? Did you lose it? Do you need Dora to help you find it? Dora, Swipers over there! Swiper NO Swiping!
Game Impressions Things I don't like about this game No auto pick up Auto attack doesn't really work Auto saves are few and far between No tap to attack Overall this game is a must have and is pretty freaking sweet to have on an iPhone. Didn't know you had to turn on hd in the options either...it's set to medium by default. Looks way better set to high and doesn't lag at all on my 3GS. I wish you could swipe to attack with melee or draw patterns for spells or something for magic. Would be way cooler than just pressing the attack button over and over... Graphics - 8.5/10 (after turning on HD) Voices - 9.5/10 Sound effects - 7/10 Music - 8.5/10 Playability - 8/10 (takes some getting used to)
Yeah I agree with all those. There should be an auto pickup option based on criteria like value, damage, etc. Auto fight only sometimes works when your in range and then press attack first. I haven't had an issue with saves yet, but I can see it getting really annoying if the game crashes before an auto save. Especially a game that you've been playing for a long time, but haven't triggered an auto save. The actual attack button is too small, and if you have a henchman it's impossible to loot without walking in a circle to deselect him first. It's too easy to start a conversation with him in the middle of a fight. Even with all these problems it's a good game though.
This is when the autosave function saves: -when you quit the app -when you go to another area (always when there is a loading screen) Hope that helps abit.
Is it bad that all of the cons you listed I think are positives? The no tap to attack for me is a plus, too many RPGs are all about button mashing and not enough about positioning your character. Squarezero said that rangers and mages play a bit like a shooter. a tap to attack system would ruin that.
Certainly true, and this is why "Western" RPGs are much closer to providing a tabletop role-playing game experience than the Japanese anime adventure games. Thinking back on nearly thirty years of pen and paper role-playing, I remember more about characters other people played than those I played myself. Likewise, the people I still know from those games remember the characters I played more than they remember my own.
Thanks guys. I forgot to rate the story! If you read the letters you get at the beginning and actually pay attention to the convos you have it's a pretty believable story and sucks you in. Well written and good voice overs to go with it. 9.5/10 Would be 10 if it was longer haha
Wow, you sure want a LOT from games.. From what I've read this has 40+ hours, how much do you want? It's more than GTA 4..(just the story)
That's really only possible to do on the PC..and the only reason for that is because the community can release mods and such for the games to keep them fresh.
lol i was being sarcastic. this game is 30 hours if you 100% it...the actual story itself is like 15.
