yep, enemy spawns are annoying, especially if they spawn after loading the save game. so u clean the area, save and then load game, enemies are back.
So, can the Devs give a definitive answer re: whether this version will be eventually optimized for 2g or whether there is going to be a separate version? I really want to finally get Aralon, but I don't want to have to buy it twice! TIA.
First of all I must say th new update makes the game more enjoyable now! I was about to give up.... I killed Lord Telmon but NPC in the bank still attack me, I paid he sewer guy $3XXX already, any body can solve it? thx
This version will be optimized for 2G. Look on JoshCM's profile, I asked something along those lines as well
God damnit, why can't anybody answer me? Do u have any helms in this game guys? In the game screensgots I see it's possible to have helms and some interesting armors but I'm a rogue lvl 40 and I haven't seen even one helm or epic armor in this game, is it just me?
How do I get an epic looking armor like that? http://ipatoiphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/aralon-sword-and-shadow-1.jpg
No matter how many people beta test the game, there's always gonna be a bug or glitch or anomaly that only happens on a particular device running a particular firmware. Like squarezero said, the list of bugs found is huge. If we wanted to find every one of them the game wouldn't have released for a few months at best.
That might have been for the best though. Personally I think they shouldn't have released the game in that state at all, I got really pissed off by all the bugs and inaccuracies, it severely reduced the enjoyment I got from the game (to a point where I wished the game would be over soon). But in response to the first point you made: while in itsself true, that doesn't go for the bugs found in this game. Many of the bugs weren't device specific at all and were so blatantly obvious anyone that would have actually played through the game would have found them. In my opinion this game was "rushed" to meet the christmas deadline.
This may be true, but the demand was there for it. You are the exception; most people (myself included) would rather have a game like this now and have it fixed up while we enjoy it in "raw" form. Certainly, if Bethesda had waited to crush all the bugs in Oblivion or Fallout 3, they would be coming out on the Xbox720 and the Playstation4. I'd rather play them now, warts and all, because it's better than the other option. Fortunately, Crescent Moon and company don't have that many to squash.
I have ipod touch 2g and when the game was 2.0 it worked fine except that if i walked throuhgt the big gate i felt down and died, but now when i updated the game to 2.12 it just keeps crashing every time i try to play
I don't agree - mainly because I have played through the game with scarcely any problems at all. In fact, to be honest, they may have been better off waiting a few weeks anyway mainly because so many games came out on the 16th (NOVA, RR2, Lara Croft etc) and so many people are having sales (EA, Gameloft, Sega, Sq Enix etc etc) that Aralon had a hard time rising to the top of the pile going after gamers' cash.
Hired partner getting stuck Not sure if this bug has been reported yet but here goes: I've hired a henchman and when I enter the dark gnome cave he either disappears (falls through the floor?) or appears halfway in the wall. If he appears halfway, I can walk forward or back a little to have him follow and then he'll pop out of the wall.
Releasing the game in it's current state is acceptable in a platform where updates can be frequent and free. Nobody was forced to buy the game before getting impressions or reviews, so the blame can't totally be on the devs. Many many people really enjoy it, and have little to no problems at all. As far as being rushed, they are running a business, and the holiday season is an important time for developers, so they released a game thats playable for the majority of people, with the promise that updates are following. Every beta tester played through the entire game at least once. The second gen support issue can be set aside for now, as the game isn't officially advertised to run on outdated hardware. On a side note, any dev wanting the "Christmas Exposure" was kinda screwed by EA and their .99 sale. A smart move for them, especially if the top charts freeze again this year.
Seems the update didn't stop the game from crashing when continuing or loading a game. I'm in a 2nd gen touch but the game ran perfectly during play I think this is something that can be fixed
Araz temple 3rd floor I know of the two obelisks opening the doors but my problem is that I can't get to the bloody obelisks!! The first one is blocked by a gate that I can't open.
