Are there really no plans for distance fog? I assumed that it was an oversight or something that there isn't any. Having the terrain change shape as you rotate your view is (a) disorienting and compounds the difficulty of navigating without a coherent map (ahem!). But also (b) looks awful! The game is so beautiful, it's a shame to have something so glaring pull you right out of what is otherwise a lovely, immersive experience.
Ugh! Please make it compatible T-T I know its a lot of work but you'll be satisfying more ipod users than you know!
Ah, but by your logic: who cares? If you THINK it's faster, does it really matter if it IS faster? Your interest is the experience, which is filtered by your perception. So if it seems better, it IS better. Not to get all dorky existential....
I was just about to answer it. Following normal RPG Action rules with timed attacks, I would say that it takes 1.5 seconds per swing. The higher the time amount (Like 1.2, 2.2, 1.5 etc.) the longer it takes to swing your weap. At least this is what I believe and what seems to be the case.
Well seeing the traditionally fast weapons, like daggers, have a low rating and traditionally slow weapons, like axes, have high ratings, I'm inclined to say that lower = faster. You'll have to calc DPS to get the best weapon for you though.
Awesome, thank you for the helpful replies. I had been avoiding Cold Sands because of the bugs reported with falling there. But now, I'll check it out. AS for the fire tho: I don't understand why you can't just cook in front of any ol' fire. I mean, is the point to make it inconvenient for the player? "Hey guys! Yes, that's true: we COULD put a source of fire right here in town. But--now, just hear me out--what if, instead, we put the only source of fire we have REALLY far away! Then! No, wait, this part's crucial--then, we construct a road from the town to the fire--but! It's full of bears! Everywhere! Hungry, murderous bears! Now get out there and vote!!"
So the "meeting disrupted" quest still doesn't work. It shows I killed tom, but it says I haven't disrupted the meeting, and when I go to the meeting, it has the dialog, but no people, or they are invisible, and then it freezes when the guy says we have a visitor..... Man... thought it was fixed, any idea when it will be fixed?
Ehh sorry for the question but is there going to be any walkthrough soon?? At least help on quests I'm on a quest about a stolen jewel and cannot find Siris...
The guy who needs the three sapphires in the bank keeps attacking me even though I've always been lawful. Any ideas?

Same here, the quest is bugged if you killed the guys before after abandonning the quest... nothing you can do except making a new game for this quest. Just abandon it and dont do the knight of callheim's missions anymore on this one, doesnt affect main plot.
Yah but I figured it would get me xp... for some reason killing monsters isn't leveling me... im level 44 and my green xp bar isn't moving... its like 3/4 the way full.... As for accepting the fact its bugged, I don't think it should just be accepted, Im almost done with the game and don't want to restart.... I think it should just be fixed should it not?
Yeah, at such a level you dont get exp for weak monsters, only for strongest one... you're near the end though. They fixed the quest... but actually didnt thought some of us might have kill the npc. So if thats the case, it still bugged... will be fixed in another update probably. @invadorgrey: did you never played a rpg game on any support? PC, playstation etc...? If not, well I think you shall try some classics before... just in case you dont like the kind of game. But well, Aralon is a really good one, so you can give it a try anyway.
