sooo, this may have been asked already but i want to confirm: does the update fix the bug for the mission 'a meeting disrupted'? Edit: never mind... i just saw the above post...
Thanks for the reply galoobeth! sorry for being thick, but how are you guys taking ingame screenshots? Thks
Sorry if this has already been answered. I have a question with the new update... I updated the game today and started playing and I never noticed this before but has the drawing distance become somewhat poorer now? I'm watching mountains form from the bottom up and they're not really that far away, as well as trees and other things popping out fairly close to me. Like I said maybe I just didn't notice this when I first played because it was all new and shiny still??? I am playing it on a 3gs.... Maybe the drawing distance was affected for the 3gs in this update?? Even with the drawing distance issues this game is awesome!! Keep up the good work!!
the draw distance of the game was not touched at all for this update. we might do something where you can control the draw distance yourself though. of course that would lower the frame rate, but it would be at your discretion.
That would be awesome - the game is crying out for standing on top of a mountain and surveying the whole area like you can in Oblivion...
I told myself I'd buy this when the update came out, but part of me is itchy for Real Racing 2. Somebody sway me, quick!
please do so! and remove that lame enemy respawning already or I'm gonna be repeating this over and over
For me to delete an item have some problem.. sometimes it don't drag, and the drag seem unfair, too slow, laggy.. it's only me?
I've always been wary of comments like these. I'm pretty sure if I released an update to my games, claiming "various bugfixes, many improvements, optimized performance" and changed the ver. from 1.2 to 2.0 while not really changing anything at all, I'll still get comments like: "feels much faster now, great job!". Aka, almost strictly placebo. Not saying, this update feels that way, but just saying comments like these really bug me. I just wish it were possible to give much more detailed and objective "update comments", e.g increased performance, average fps from 23 -> 25.2. Something we can see, not just feel.
Really? One of my bigger gripes with the game was the limited number of character classes. A Paladin would be a damned good start.
I actually just loaded the update, noticed the improvement and then went to check the list of 'improvements' to see if a performance one was on there... I'm not placebo-ing anything (there's a new word for ya!) Anyway, what is wrong with feeling the improvement? tbh that is better than having a 1 fps improvement you can't feel but you know it is there if you get my meaning...
You were right! The water I saw was the lake. I was able to walk on the ground and used the climbing-bug to joump on the real ocean-ground. So it's time to find more bugs
