GameClub Aralon: Sword and Shadow (by Crescent Moon Games)

So many crashes/bugs/errors says the game wasnt really tested that well :O

 

I'm not sure where in the game that is, but I'm also playing on an iPad and can't progress past the meeting in the garden maze. Did you get past that okay? These bugs are a real shame, cos I'm really enjoying Aralon otherwise.

 

dude, alot of the people on this thread were beta testers. i was not, but i still think you should give some respect to the devs. this is the biggest game for iphone ever (content wise). if the had gotten rid of all the bugs it would have been released 2012.

 

I wish people would stop saying this. There have been dozens of posts in this thread with all kinds of crashing and other issues on the 2g
Posting things like this misleads people.
Even the developers admit there are problems with the 2g and their app description even says it does NOT support it.

CM is working on optimzing it for us 2g owners, but until then I think there shouldn't be people promising that it will work on 2g.

 

I have found that some enemies I kill fail to give me experience. I was wondering if this was a bug or if it was normal. The reason I'm asking is because the enemies that fail to give me the XP are usually ten levels below me.

That kinda sucks. I wonder what the level cap is then.

 

He's a pirate and a homophobe, what else would you expect from him? Respect is the last thing he knows anything about.

 

no level cap. that is one of the many great thing of aralon. and why does it suck? would you prefer it if you got 1 xp for them?

 

The game even crashes on a 4g device/iPad you know

The beta testers must of been lazy and were to busy actually playing the game instead of searching for bugs. I dont blame the developer like a previous post stated.

 

get off the thread. if you don't like the game, and you're not willing to wait for the devs to fix it (they released an update BEFORE THE GAME WAS OUT), then we dont need you screwing us over.

Never said i didnt like the game. All i said was this game has some crashes/bugs. Then i was called a pirate, then i showed some evidence that other people even on itunes experience crashes on higher devices

 

I'd assume that eventually I'll be too far above everyone else in the game to gain any experience from killing them.

 

The beta testers were some of the most active people on the forums, I think they knew what they were doing. Hodapp himself loves the game, so it must be good

Mention it in the suggestions thread if that is the case. Unless they don't add any content, which I'm sure they will, I plan on playing this for a long time. Maybe they'll add enemies to cater to people that are level 300

 

I disagree. Had I been a beta tester most if not all of the bugs people are finding wouldve been fixed. They are easy to find game breaking bugs...i mean the fact that no one can beat the game due to it freezing...why wasn't this found before? Did any of the beta testers beat the game? :/

 

The problem is the bugs only effect some people. The guy who got the promo code had it working on his 2g fine. Note that some posters haven't had any bugs even though they have the same idevice.

 

Same thing happened with rimelands as well.

That being said, I've had no crashes on my 4G Touch.
