can you still use the shield bash without the shield cause i just figured out how to dual wield weapons and im not sure if shield bash is worth having on the action bar without a shield
Does this work for 2G? My friend jailbroke his itouch 2G and thusly Aralon can't even get past the loading screen on his. Has anyone had any problems with the lack of RAM on the 2g?
Is it a pirated copy? If so it wont work. I have a 2G and it seems to work pretty well. No big issues to report
Game Impressions Pirated copy won't work. Buy it. It's worth every penny. Review: It reminds me of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64 but with The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall/Morrowind artwork. Game/battle mechanics are similar to Neverwinter Nights where it's a quasi real-time-but-with-dice-rolls/turn math going on behind the scenes. Makes me wish I had an iPhone 4. But it works great on 3GS though I recommend rebooting your device (and/or closing multitasked apps) for smoothest gameplay, but frame drops still do occur sometimes. Loading in-between houses can be a long and tedious process. Outdoor music is great, indoor music not so much. I turn it off to get more gameplay time off my device battery anyhow. Nicely done. I can only imagine what the sequel will look like. *wink wink, nudge nudge* Oh, and Pocket Gamer's claim that "your thumb regularly slips off the tiny stick, swipes the screen, and moves the camera instead of your hero.." is total bull. I've attempted to 'slip' my thumb off the stick and it never does. The reviewer appears to be a 'tard when it comes to using thumb controls. Overall, I'm impressed. It's the second application that has me taking my iPhone seriously as a hard core gaming device (Infinity Blade released first, sorry). (Personal rating: 8/10) Suggestion: Longer mob respawn rate - the mobs respawn too quickly leading to unfair ambushes, especially when loading up right beside enemy spawn points. I cried foul a few times last night. Also, more Quickslots. There aren't enough for my necessary items + skills. Thank you.
The absence of a direction arrow is killing me... literally. I just faced a level 35 vampire beneath the sewers trying to find the crypt of some broad. You'd think the devs would've included, even a rudimentary, guidance system. I have no idea where the old part of the sewer system is. It's not marked. Grrrr.
Just wanted to say that I've been following this release for at least a couple of months now and I'm damn impressed. I won't discuss the bugs or annoyances - everyone else has more than covered those, but I will say that even with the blemishes and "Icon Gate" , this is a great game. Playing this I sometimes forget I'm on my iPhone and it reminds me of playing Oblivion, World of Warcraft (believe it or not), and even with the negatives I haven't once thought that I have wasted any of my money spent purchasing it, its more than lived up to my (very high) expectations, and, well, this is some of the most fun I've ever had on my iPhone. Keep up the good work Crescent Moon and Galoobeth Games... I've played for at least 4 to 5 hours already and I've only just gotten to the big city. That's after doing all of the side quests from the start area. What an epic game.
I had the same feeling until the game freeze at the mansion maze and I could not complete the bear quest
LOL. Mine just crashed. Yeah. Showstopper bug at the mansion maze (guild quest), right after the guy says "we seem to have an unwelcome visitor." Probably mentioned before. Hope a fix arrives soon. On with the other quests then~
I need some weapons and armor for my mage all the stuff i found says 'cannot use' >_>' i have an epic axe and i can't use it!!! OMFG help :/
Try umm Coldsand jeez forgot the second part of the name its in north Callaheim I found some shops with sweet weapons there but I dunno what level you are or anything.
I was in your shoes. Keep at it and you'll find better stuff. Do as many quests as possible and visit stores. My mage is level 19 now and I'm pretty much a happy camper just grinding. Love the game.

Despite the bugs mentioned, the game is still very enjoyable. The freedom of going anywhere you want, enjoying every view of aralon is just incredible. I absolutely love games like this, and the feeling of having an open world right in your pocket is indescribable. I just want to let the devs know how grateful I am to them for putting this game out, it is my dream come true. Galoobeth and crescent moon, please carry on making awesome games like this in the future. Do not be put down by how aralon is doing in the appstore as it definitely deserves more, much more. Thank you very much for making Aralon. For those who are considering getting this game, I would say do not waste even one second. The fun is too good to miss out. A game like this for 6.99? absolute steal. heck, I wouldn't hesitate to buy even if it's priced at the original 9.99. GET IT NOW and I promise you won't be able to put down your phone after that.
