From the screenshots I've seen, I think the graphics look fine. Sure, they aren't Infinity Blade insane, but they're good enough for an open world RPG where a lot has to be loaded into the ram at once for it to work.

My main concerns are polish and story. Does it feel like a small, independent, game, or does it play more like a Morrowind-lite (which would be a good thing)? And does the story draw you in? Without giving away any spoilers, will we care about the characters, and about learning more about the world?

This is the hd version although it's beenreported that it works fine on the 2nd gen touch. If you want to wait for the 2nd gen version it may be a while

Does the HD version work fine on 3GS level of gear? Good framerate?

I've been playing for a while now, and I've got to say, great game.. but one thing is really bothering me.

Some of the skill icons are literally STOLEN from guildwars, the rangers "ambush" skill is stolen from the guildwars skill "deep freeze"

    You can see that here:

    http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Deep_Freeze

The rangers "stealth" skill is stolen from the guildwars skill "clumsiness"

    You can see that here:

    http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Clumsiness

This is unacceptable and I'm pretty disappointed that this was stooped too. I now have to wonder what other graphics were stolen, so far I've only played as ranger. I think I even recognize the stats helmet icon from somewhere else.. though I can't place where.

Similar looking icons - but obviously not the same. Our icon artist must have been inspired by Guild Wars. :p

There is no way this game can live up to the hype some people have for it. They are expecting Oblivion on the iphone and it's just not possible at this point. And the graphics are not going to be nearly as good as something like IB when you have an open world and a much wider range of possibilities for what can be displayed on the screen at any given time.

I've tried to keep my expectations in line. It will be either Ravensword on steroids or a very poor man's Elder Scrolls-"type" game...and that will make me happy until someone decides to sink a lot more money into making a deeper rpg experience on the iphone, something to actually rival a TES game in depth/complexity (and that may not happen for a very long time).

Not the same? Are you kidding? One is literally EXACTLY the same, but the colour has been shifted from pink to blue, this would take me all of 20 seconds in photoshop.

The other hasn't even been colour shifted, it's EXACTLY the same, just one of the figures in the icon has been copy and pasted.

    At least admit it, jesus

There's only so many ways you can make an icon to represent specific actions. Your complaint is much ado about nothing.

Yeah it looks very similar - I'll be sure to ask the icon artist where his inspirations were from. :)

From your tone you seem as surprised as I was.
If you hired this guy, I'd ask for an explanation and probably fire him.

Is this really what bothers you about the game? Really, really really?
I'm never playing Call of Duty again because the 'grenade' icon looks just like the one from Battlefield Bad Company.

Dude, it's time to drop your balls already.

having never played Guild Wars I never would have even known - so yeah I'll definitely ask him. He was only hired to do the icons, a few months ago.
They don't look like exact copies though, but very similar.
