Its 100times better then ravensword I actually enjoyed that game but there wasn't enough content to keep me hooked long this game blows it away in every category and the gameplay is very smooth on the iphone 4 plus the customization u can do to your character is great, if u liked ravensword u will be in haven with this game if u loved oblivion like me u will love this game

I'd really like to know this too.

For the curious...Aralon does run smoothly on my itouch 2g. Yes I have to turn the graphical settings as low as they can go but that's to be expected. It does crash occasionly and I've lost some saves due to this but hpefully those updates will fix it and it's been happening less since I turned the settings down. However I don't know if it's worth buying yet if you have a 2G as I have been unable to get past the village gates :p

    Unfortunately globalist is right.
Here is an old WoW screenshot of mine with the Slice and Dice icon for comparison.

Seems like that icon artist they hired didn't do a lot of original work, I'm sure they will replace the icon like they did the others he stole..no biggie.

I noticed the dazzle icon looks awfully familiar to the starfall ability in Warcraft 3 the frozen throne, but besides that, I have a question about the mages skill tree:

Do the abilities change when theyre upgraded to the next tier, for example, does fire blast 2 differ from fireblast 1 besides damage wise?

I had difficulty with that part during the beta too, and I think the directions for that part need to be a bit clearer.
Karn is in the north, so head north, through the forest to the border fort and then to the Outlands, and there you will find Karn along the coast.

Not form what I am aware of. The fire looks no different, nothing is different. It's kind of f*cked up too, and I feel slightly cheated: The fireblast 1 ranked up 3 times does the same damage as Fireblast 2 rank one. >.> why wouldnt Fireblast 2 rank one be slightly higher in damage since I have to upgrade it fully just to move to the next tier anyways. Bah.

Yeah I know what you mean, I just upgraded to fireblast 2, and i mean I was really hoping for a really unique skill tree for the Mage, but from what I see they're really isn't much skill customization or variety :/

You skipped a rather important step. They all copied Gary Gygax who copied Dave Arneson, and collectively they copied Tolkien, Lieber, DeCamp, Lovecraft et al. When discussing the history of role-playing games, you shouldn't immediately jump from CRPGs to literature.

For me it runs perfectly although it occasionally crashes. And the game crashes alot when continuing a game. By the way, I don't think Loading a game works as it comes up with a new game prompt

no way man, I've got a 2g touch and it runs alright. crashes after about 10 minutes every time, but I'm learning to save often. eh, I totally deserve the crashes for being so impatient.

What are the differences between the races? Have we figured that out yet?

I have it on a 2g itouch and it boots up fine, loads fine, couple of hiccups in the intro vid, when you gain control it's extremely fluid and seems to work great, but I have never been able to exit the house as it crashes every time. I've tried it dozens of times. Restarted, respringed, deleted and reinstalled. I do hope you are able to lower the memory usage of the loading process or add 2g support soon because you got my sale 7 minutes after it was released. Please don't make us buy a separate app :)

Osujxu - take a look through these pages and you'll hear lots of stories of crashes and other issues on the 2G.

The way I look at it, continual crashes do not make a game playable. Some people are willing to deal with it.

But again, the dev never said it would support 2G so there's no blame game there. Just, as many others, hope that the memory issues that are causing the crashes...and death in some cases...can be fixed.

I'm dying to get this game, but will be patient as I've got lots of other things to play.

That said...I'd be more than willing to be a beta tester for any updates ;)

Have the recent updates been submitted in time for the holiday cutoff or are we looking at after Christmas before we get them?
