I'm sure this has been asked before, but can i do anything with the tomb in the crypt in the old sewer tunnels?
You guys know that if you touch the dots on the map the names of the places pop up? I didn't realize it for a long time. Spent a lot of time wandering around the city, trying to remember where things were.
So, what do you mean it "ruins everything"? I've played it through twice on my iPad and think the UI is really good overall - the biggest problems have nothing to do with the iPad (if you have a henchman, it is hard to loot adversaries because you end up talking to the henchman)... The only iPhone/iPad issues I noticed were that the loading screen is for the iPhone & the loading screen's message about having 5 slots and "arrows" is wrong and confusing* but those don't amount to much. 'deep *I spent a long time (and some frustration I must admit) wondering about this...
I think I know what that iPad complaint means. My problem with the iPad version is I have trouble controlling my character. The camera zigzags back and forth because the d-pad is so small; my finger easily is moving in various directions to the point that I lack precise control. If someone were to watch me playing, I would look like a drunk walking around. Rather frustrating.
Inventory / Stats / Journal windows are too small. Placement / size of D-Pad and in-game buttons / bars are bad. It is definitely playable, I've probably exaggerated when I wrote "ruins everything", but it can get sooo much better...
Hmm - I agree that the inventory stuff could be made bigger. The DPad issue seems strange to me - I find it a joy to use: just press and hold and you smoothly go the intended direction, lift up if you want to stop, or slide your finger to change direction... So much better than a keyboard... Maybe you guys are using it like a physical d-pad - tap tap tap tap - instead of holding it down?
hey i got a question. what do you do when you get to "the plan"? i went down to the old sewers and found a lvl 30 vampire thing and died. im so lost lol XD
I assume that you were down there looking for the queen's crypt? There's a door to the crypt down there somewhere, and you don't need to deal with the vampire to get to it. I wonder if the vampire is part of some quest. I gave him a fire elemental to play with while I looted his chest, then ran for my life.
I'm using it like I use any other, holding and sliding. But it's too small for my fingers/thumbs. I end up turning when I meant to go straight, or I can't turn like I want. Not that I can't play it, but it's not as comfortable as other games. I would settle for an ugly 2x UI though.
Mansion Can anyone tell me how to get into the mansion? I know u have to do the reversal of justice quest, but where is the quest ? pls help , thnks.
Just a quick update. The paladin class is now in, some new weapons in, new attack animations, new abilities. Still finishing up the iPad UI update. This is going to be a free update of course. We're going to try switching to the newest version of the game engine we use (Unity 3d) to see if it helps with memory management. We have some cool ideas for an expansion that we'd like to do after we get the Mac App store version out. -Josh
