Which one? Sunclaw is in a cave to your immediate left as soon as you enter the Outlands. Icefang is in the wintry area through the western mountain pass from the Outlands; as soon as you enter the area follow the mountains on your right until you're winding your way down a spiral shelf. Icefang's lair is at the bottom.
I believe that's the electricty from the stone pillar things. which can kill you if your not careful.

I'd suggest asking in the Aralon help thread, but if you're really stuck then you need to take it from the quest NPC who is the target of the quest. That would be Ug. "Take" as in, take it from his lifeless corpse, unless you are able to pickpocket the item. I never tried that, it might be possible.
Aralon no longer loading on iPad New iPad with iOS 4.2.1, and as of today, Aralon won't get passed the Continue screen. Yesterday, it wouldn't load a level (I'm outside the gate to the South Kingdom by the mill and the game quits when trying to load the other side of the gate; same thing when trying to go inside a cave.) I am not having this problem on my iPhone4. Any ideas? Any announced fix for iPad users regarding the UI, etc? ALSO, out of curiosity: I know Crescent Moons used Unity for Ravensword. Did they use it for Aralon? Are they running into problems due to Unity or for other reasons? If Unity, which version? Scott
I know I saw it...(I think)...I might be old but my eyes aren't that bad...yet, plus I'm playing on a iPad, bigger screen held inches from my face ...I noticed it the first time I played before any updates. I'm guessing it was taken out by the devs. Josh, care to comment on the location of our long lost sea monster?
I know it seems like a silly thing to keep going on about, but when the npc said underwater treasure, I imagined the sunken ships and underwater caves of Morrowind...kinda got a little Morrow-Boner. :-D maybe some addon content ideas...
main quest... Alright here's the deal: I became an outlaw early on and pretty much went about killing everybody.. went on with the main quest normally, got the scepter at the temple and went back to darius... went to the sewers to become neutral, did so, and, as expected, most ppl dont attack me anymore. MOST PEOPLE. If i walk into the royal chambers, the city guards don't attack me, but if I go too near merificus, everybody just attacks me all over again... So basically, I'm stuck. Is there ANY way to become lawful rather than just neutral? Or NOT to be freakn attacked like that even though im neutral? If not, there certainly SHOULD be. --Currently stuck cause can't proceed with main quest-- HELP PLZ
I've swam all around that area, and I did find the chest, but I've never seen any sea monster. I'm guessing a fish swam in front of the camera view, closer than the character, making it seem larger than it really is. If that doesn't make sense, walk behind a person and bring the camera all the way down, and walk away from them. The further away you go, the closer to the person the camera is, till it eventually passes though them. I'm not saying there never was one though, but if there was, it wouldn't be an enemy, as trying to fight underwater would be kinda difficult.
I saw the sea monster. Deffo a big creature. I think it was in the first build released but not been back in the water since.
I agree 100% fighting in water is hard. I've fallen into water with knolls chasing me and they killed me before I could get myself together. Someone did say they encountered it but it didn't attack. Wish I would have taken a screen shot... I can see what you mean with the camera and a fish, but this wasnt fish shaped. It was long with a snake like head, like a big eel. I remember in Ravensword, the giant troll, so I kind of hoped for a high level monster... I've said all I can say about the sea monster. Didn't mean to hijack the tread with my fish tales thanks for listening to me rant.
I can vouch for its existence. I quite definitely saw it, and swam all around it. I was very disappointed that I could not fight it. =/
