There are three guilds in callaheim and one in the sewers. The magic guild is in front of the royal building, with the door facing the sewers. Kinda hard to describe where exactly, but if you walk past all the buildings on that side one of the doors will let you in. From my understanding, the paladin is gonna focus on huge weapons and armor, no word on specific skills or features yet.
The three guild buildings are right next to one another in front of the castle. Two of them has doors that seems ackwardly placed but if you look at the map you can figure it out. I think the magic guild is in the middle with a door on the side of the building (but coiuld be wrong). Either way, they're all in the same general area.
You can do alot with Helga's Ring, I don't know if it's intentional but to climb mountains you have to find one with a gradiant that is less steep then you can levitate your way up the slope to the top. Alternatively if you get stuck you can "jump" off and slowly float your way to another access point. Descending on enemies in this way and shockwaving them is fun too.
Helgas ring was originally supposed to be taken out of the game, but enough people liked it so it was left in. It is fun to go to the highest areas, but dangerous too, as you can fall through the world.
Any news on 2g testing? I only decided to go 2 pages back, so don't get mad at me if it's a little further back.
Giant's Den??? I just finished the game (i'll file impressions soon - but in short:Great!) - but one quibble: I never could get into the "Giant's Den" - I returned time and time again and tried from every angle... Any ideas?
What a great game! Super immersive, super detailed with great mechanics! I spent many hours enjoying it! Thanks guys! Maybe I'll go back and try again with another character class... Positives: - the size of the world was great - the controls were great - the look of everything was great - fighting was fun - spells were fun (and looked cool!) - the different types of monsters were fun - the quests worked well Negatives: - biggest complaint: load times between sections - the overall story was mediocre - too easy to accidentally get into "strip corpse" mode when fighting multiple monsters - not a lot of explanation of character classes - mapping was rudimentary - easy to accidentally skip quests you needed (maybe more NPCs could point you in the right direction the farther afield you went) - occasional crashes when loading sections of the game - by the end I was too powerful for everything in the game Also, my guess is that playing it again as a different class won't be terribly fun because there probably isn't much mystery & probably are the same quests. I would imagine the overall plot must remain, but maybe different quests and side quests per class woul help? (Maybe this is how it works already?) Anyway thanks for a GREAT RPG! Exactly what I was hoping for!
Yeah, let's get some 2g news. Bought the game thinking it was compatable and then it wasn't so I deleted until a) I could afford a new ipod or b) they fixed the game for 2g users.
Did you restart your device after installing? Since you have an iPod TOuch 2G and not an iPhone 3G, it should just about run.
Nah, it crashes and drops me off a cliff and kills me when i get to the first gate past the bridge. Every time. It kinda works. I guess I could try reinstalling...
There is currently an update in the works right now to make it compatible with 2g iTouch. If you can't play it now, you probably will after the update.
That's good news. I hope it will truly make the app compatible unlike Xenome which allows you to play but loads incredibly slow and crashes a bit. If the update is done right, I'll be really happy.
are there any quests for the thieves guild? Cause' when i go there and talk to them they're just like i dont like you.
Stuck in a small boat in Callaheim. I got stuck in a boat. No way to get out. Auto Save has me stuck in the boat, too. Any ideas?
Actually, I do. I used my horse to get off. I got on and got off my horse a couple of times and it threw me back on the dock.
