There's also Dragon Age which took about 80 hours for one play through. However the story is completely different depending on which class/race/decisions are made.
One last but very important question for Aralon coming from a WoW player: does the game have respecs? (skill / talent resets). It is very important to me especially in long games.
It doesn't have respec right now but it's something I have considered adding, especially if we end up tweaking the skill trees in future updates.
Please! I rather spend time playing the other classes than having to restart a character. Not to mention I am still leveling in Cataclysm... I simply won't have the time to do something like restarting a character, and I feel a lot of folks would be in the same boat. Also skill resets let us experiment with character builds and they add a lot of value to the game. You can make them cost a ton of gold or even set a limit to one reset per day, if you want to restrict people from changing too often.
Henchmen and Pets Quick question: when do we get to hire henchmen and when do we get pets? I'm VERY happy to hear about these in games like this since I haaaate being alone in games. lol. I know, so sad. Thanks for any answers!
UGHHHHHHH!!!!!! 7 MORE HOURS!!!!!!!!!! Someone help me get through this pain! Need...Aralon...NOW!!!! Screenshots, anything. Help ME!
video Someone posted this video of gameplay. It quenched my thirst for about 5 minutes, maybe it can help you too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc3_rv7JGW4
Go to the tavern in taryn ridge. There's a henchman there. The other 2 you'll have to find for yourself.
The game had to be submitted at a particular time to make the holiday cut-off. We were still testing and they were still adding content and rebalancing, so they submitted a playable version and submitted an update soon after it was approved. I've beta tested a lot of games, and I haven't seen one develop as much between builds as Aralon. You can expect that these guys will be standing 100% behind their game.
