Where's the android love bro? Lol I know the google market sucks for game devs now. Perhaps some day.
I wish this was coming out soon! I'm going on vacation next week and it would be perfect for the 6 hour drive there!
If you time travel into the future, download the game and time travel back you might still get to play it then!
Why didn't I think of that? , I'll most likely just download Rimelands. If Apple would hurry up with the review process!
So for that mage class you can only summon a fire elemental, right? or are there other creatures you can summon? Also do any of the other classes get pets?
Currently only the mage can summon a pet fire elemental. But there is the option to hire a henchman now if you want a traveling companion.
Is there/how much areas are there that you will never see if all you do is complete the main storyline? I would prefer there still be areas to explore after "beating" the game.
Release I heard about Aralon quite a while ago and I've been watching it since. I can't wait for this game to come out, it looks and sounds absolutely incredible! I also read somewhere that the makers of this game announced that it would be released in September some time, is that true? Has it been submitted to Apple yet? ^_^
It would be nice to have other pet elementals in the game, even make other enemies have the power to wield them as well!
most of the character stuff is finished now. I think I'm approaching close to 50% of the level work before it gets fine tuned. I'm still finding new stuff every day though that I didn't know was there before... this game is huge. the weapons are finished - the inventory is basically finished. most of the enemies are done. the animator finished rigging the big dragon and he's getting animated now. The sky system is done. Mark is making props and interiors for the city. We still have the tombs, temple, shadowspire, and other caves and stuff to do. So we're making a dent in it, but theres still lots to do.
I wish there was a "Like" button for thread posts (like on Facebook). As for price, I really don't understand why certain people are so concerned with it. It's an iDevice game. With that said, it will surely be a great bargin for the content that it is providing. So far, to my knowledge, Chaos Rings is the highest priced game app (at $12.99), and it did incredibly well. Either way, though, I'd say it's a safe bet that it won't be much higher than that (although it's obviously got TONS more content than CR).
I haven't played Final Fantasy CR yet (shame, shame!) but I can tell you the price will not be as high as 12.99. We are considering 9.99. That will sort of depend if we can make it universal or not. We got some things working well on the iPad (which means even better on iPhone 4) but still more optimization to be done and supporting 2G devices is going to be a real bitch. Unity 3 takes more memory now than it used to, making it much harder to support the 2G's... Will try our best though.
