This will be, undoubtedly, one of the Giants of iphone gaming on it's release. I cannot wait and will pick it up as soon as I get paid (the 18th probably). I am also making this post to get this thread up to 400 pages.
You know one thing that really bothers me about this game, especially after watching the trailers, is the artwork of the game's enemies. I mean... using a sword to slay dogs? Or other animals in general... or large insects... Also I am not really fond of the game's gear design (it's not a big deal but still). I would like to see more concept artwork and or screenshots of the game that doesn't only show the game's environments / menus.
You don't fight dogs in the game, though you do rescue one. You fight wolves early on, and bears in the northern kingdom will attack you. There are deer in the game that you can choose to hunt or leave alone. As to insects, there are some pretty powerful giant ants -- that's it. Personally I think the gear looks great, but that's just a matter of taste. .

I'm so excited for this! Does anyone know what happens upon death? Not that I ever plan on dying of course.
Ok thanks for the info. As for the gear, most of the screens and videos I have seen have the guy wearing almost no shirt or some normal clothes.
