Yes, welcome to Touch Arcade! And you're never too late to this kind of party. I'm sure if you frequent this community you'll find that there's an awful lot of helpful and friendly people around here. And there's no better place to learn about new releases than the reviewers you'll find here.
All of these big games getting released are going to have 1 star reviews because of idiots complaining about download time. Few of them even bother to check the file size.
ha, i just figured it up and i would get this game at seven in the evening tomorrow in AK! if only i had enough money in my itunes account. it'll end up being about another week for me.
70 more posts and 3000 more views. Chop chop boys. Also, IB's out with their first update already. Significant? Probably not. It seems a lot of developers are pretty quick on their first patch, but what separates the good from the bad is continual updates. Even EA's patched Fifa 11, but you can bet that the patch promise for multiplayer and Manager Mode is probably never coming out. Gameloft's been pretty good with their one update, sometimes even two, but they pretty much gives up on their games a month or two after it's been out. And it's usually only bug fixes, rarely additions or updates (I'm sure plenty of people would be MORE than willing for even PAID DLCs on a game like Nova). Then you look at a great developer like Capcom (Dead Rising aside) who's been patching SF4 and providing free updates and even new characters for over a year and a half. Time will tell what the new mobile gaming big guns like Epic, Chair, and CM (yes, you guys) will become.
I agree with this for the most part. I just don't like my games to be abandoned after one or 2 updates... I don't expect something new every patch, or even every 2 patches. But the ocassional nice addition, new feature, or DLC is always welcome. I just hope you guys are willing to keep up with this, even though I know the game is bound to leave me plenty of hours of gameplay time alone.
I hope everyone realizes that this thread is seeing its last night. Tommorow, at 6 AM Eastern, 5 AM Central, ImNoSuperman will post the thread, as Aralon, Real Racing, and NOVA will have released in New Zealand!
I have freekin loved this thread. This thread has been the number one thing I was looking forward to seeing when I got home from school. I will be sad yet happy to see you go.
Guys, we need 52 more posts to reach 4000. I think we can do it. This thread deserves that kind of prominence!
