I had asked the same question about expansion packs/dlc and I believe he told me he would wait and see how the game did first. Also, on further reading, I believe he said they plan to offer updates with additional content, which could mean additional weapons and areas to explore. I hope this helps!
My apologies if this has been asked already, but as one class, can you use weapons/items of another class? Say, as a rogue, could one decide that it would be beneficial to carry a bow around and actually be able to?
in anticipation for Aralon, I decided to play Ravensword again. But how the hell do you beat the Mega Troll?
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=33777 jump on his head... We need the trailer! Come on Josh, give us something, anything---
How big is the world? Is it as expansive as, say, Ocarina of Time? Twice as big? Half as big? I'm really looking forward to this one.
It's ten times the size of Ravensword. Also, I wonder how many items made it in for the release? The 529 count is pretty old by now.
In anticipation for Aralon, I decided to delete Ravensword. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. I deleted Dungeon Hunter to make room for DH2, and I deleted NOVA to make room for NOVA 2, so don't take it personally. I generally delete the original when a sequel comes out. Unlike movies, where most sequels blow, in the video game world sequels are more often than not better then the orginal anyway. And, as Josh has already said previously, Aralon is, at least in some sense, the sequel to Ravensword. Aralon is basically what CM imagined when they pictured what Ravensword 2 would look like. Stupid 32GB iPhone limit. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
I timed how long it took to get from the most southern area in Ravensword to the most northern. Just a straight line without engaging any enemies or talking to anyone, just traveling. It took about 7 minutes. If Aralon is really ten times bigger, seventy minutes worth of linear travel is a lot of land to cover. That just point A to B.
I'm very sorry if this has been asked before, but with regards to the side-quests... Will there be strands, like for example the guild quests on elder scrolls games, or in the form of single missions like the side quests in ravensword?
