Pre-congrats on a game that is going to change iOS gaming. You guys at CM are amazing and I personally appreciate all the hard work that's gone into this game and all of the high quality products that you guys have released.
LOL uh no. They probably won't do that... I just have my doubts that it will be out at the same time as IB, since that game has everyone NOT on these forums thinking it will be the best game ever... (we all know otherwise ) COME ONNNN ARALON
Nice to hear it's finally been submitted. Let's just hope that Apple doesn't delay it's release. Congrats to everyone who worked on the game, now all your work will pay off.
Holy pine cones! It's been submitted? That's awesome! Still no release date, I assume, though, right?
guess your right, but im hoping, CM cant do much now anyway, so im guessing theres no actual release date yet! i just have a hard time waiting, and a release next week would realy save this chrismas for me!
wow - I didn't know that Galoobeth released the game 'Tilt' on the app store - nice programmer art Jason! I'm gonna have to pick up a copy. Maybe I'll redo the art too.
So in an upcoming ipad developer thread, turns out that apple is currently taking 3+ weeks to review games :| apperantly... if so.. UGH EVERYONE GO COMPLAIN TO APPLE
Apple has entered its holiday rush, so I wouldn't hold my breath on a 1 week approval window -- my guess is at least two. On the whole IB vs Aralon issue, let me just say, as a biased observer, that if Infinity Blade manages to provide an experience as good or better than Aralon (not just graphically) it will be the game of the year. I seriously doubt that that will be the case. I think you guys are in for a treat with Aralon. The best thing I can say about it is not that it's big or that it has depth, but that even on a tenth partial playthrough, and many, many hours, the game is still a great deal of fun (and all the characters I created through the entire beta were a troll warriors). Congratulations to the teams at Galoobeth and Crescent Moon.
Well the IB vs Aralon subject is interesting. IB actually looks like it has more depth than people think. It all depends on the kind of gamer you are, whether or not you will get all that IB has to offer. Aralon of course looks amazing, but again it might not appeal as much to the casual gamer. I guess each game has it's amazing qualities, kind of hard to compare the two. In any case, I'll be picking both up
Since SquareZero mentioned Aralon... I will do the same. Spoiler free. Aralon really grabs you, from the outset. Aralon's world is yours to explore and ripe with adventure. It really becomes YOUR journey. I haven't been testing Aralon all too long. A few days... But the world is so highly crafted, so enthralling that you find excitement in the exploration and sights to see. There are melodies which float atmospherically into your ears, all alongside sounds of the open world living and breathing, enthralling and enchanting during your conquest toward completion. Will everyone find Aralon perfect, I can't quite say. Realistically, is this the best in it's class on iOS? Resoundingly, so. Welcome to AAA title hood, Crescent Moon. Aralon really is a like a precious treasure, for each of you to call your own.
Wow Pacificsun0841, what an endorsement! This sounds phenomenal and cannot wait to wake up one of these days to see IMNS post of "Aralon:Sword & Shadow [NZ]", then I'll no it's less than a day away to enjoy this! This game has become my most anticipated game release yet!
I also want to thank Josh, our resident developer Snuggie. Josh, thank you for providing us with hope and reason, even when I'm sure we had pissed you off. You'd dealt with our whining and noise, filtering through what you could to keep us excited. Taking your time away, to speak to our wonder as well as our concern. You included us in your process, even during times when it may have pained you. You took time to listen to ALL of us and to share with us. I wish Aralon the best success, as move toward future endeavors. I hope the audience rewards Aralon, with the same love you've rewarded unto us. You are like TouchArcade family, now. Thank you for the journey.
I know it'll be $10 and I fully respect that - all it'll mean is that I'll wait for Christmas to get this and get IB before.
