I apologize if any of these bugs have already been mentioned, I tried to search for them: If I am wearing Helga's Ring (which is epic btw) and I use my ranger's stealth skill, the game freezes every time (and I have to quit out and load from last save). Wearing Helga's ring i flew straight through the top part of the bank door and into black nothingness (and had to reload from last save) If I try to apply an enchantment and then hit 'cancel' instead of choosing an object, the game also freezes consistently. I am on an iPhone 4, if that matters. And now just a few other gameplay suggestions: An attack that can target more than one enemy would be nice. I definitely agree with the morality meter idea. Theft and murder are rather different things... Even with the occasional glitch, this undoubtedly remains the best iOS game I've ever played. Thanks Crescent Moon and galoobeth.
Please, I can play through all the graphic bugs but I f* hate that when enemies respawn in caves or dungeons! unacceptable! thanks
Weaker enemies should start avoiding the player as character level overshadows that enemy (I haven't played a lot but it's annoying being swarmed with easily disposed young wolves). I think even early on the health/mana auto-regeneration seems too quick (but might work considering below; not sure how I feel). At first I really hated the rapid enemy respawn rate and quick health/mana recharge. ...BUT after some thought it adds more of an arcade action feel to the game. Also in random encounter RPG games the enemies just kept coming and their presence was never cleared so maybe the respawn is not that off key. I am torn because it is odd fighting the same enemies in and out of areas. Also the rapid health/mana regeneration (even early on it seems too quick) makes it easy to just stand around for a few seconds to recharge. Together the recharge/respawn "ratio" gives the game a decent balance and keep things active but both seems a little off on their own. Having weaker enemies flee the player might prevent enemy offense grinding with respawn. Edit: I still haven't played a lot yet, maybe 1.5 hour(s) but good game. Thanks for listening to suggestions.
First off, I want to say that I am thoroughly enjoying the game. This is an epic effort on the developers part, and I'm very impressed with what has been accomplished here. This has to be one of the top games in overall value for your money. Bugs I have encountered: - When I first bought and equipped the lowest level leather cap, there seemed to be an issue with the model loading correctly. My character was bald, and it seemed as though there was an object that had loaded into the distance the moved in sync with my head. After trying another leather cap on, it seemed that the problem had vanished. - There have been a few times where I attempted to look around with my right thumb(no where near the control stick) and my character moved for about a half second. In one instance this caused me to fall off a bridge. Possible Improvements: - Enemy respawns need to be toned WAY down. I believe it was when I went to Kargath's lair, I got all the way through, killed the boss, and then everything had respawned in behind me. This was slightly disheartening. A system where monster didn't respawn in interior instances would be nice. As it stand the respawn rate seems to be anywhere from 90-150 seconds. - Another quickbar is badly needed. In a game this big, with as many skills that are available, at least 15 slots would be nice. - Mounts seem a tad bit sensitive. There has been a few instances where I have bumped something at a low speed and have fallen off the mount. - An option to turn the music down. I enjoy most of the music, but the volume seems to be a tad bit elevated. Things I love: - The controls seem spot on. There have been very few times(apart from the one issue above) where I have had any difficulty with the controls. - Combat animations are top notch - Graphics seem very comparable to Morrowind(even better in some instances) Overall I'm very pleased with the game. My biggest complaint is that I don't want it to end! More content on the way please?
For me, the game is incredibly laggy even with low/off graphics and I an't turn around properly... Ipod 3G, 32GB, ios 4.2
You shouldn't really need jumping once the bugs are ironed out. I mean there's no jumping attacks, and if you need to get up somewhere there's a ladder. I can see the use now though, if you get stuck behind something
It's a known bug, they're working on it, along with 2g optimization, other bugs, and an enhanced iPad gui
After coming back from killing Chief Kargarth on when I talk to the guard to complete the quest it wont give me the XP or reward. He tells me that I did a great thing and allows me to select an item but I receive nothing once the dialog closes.
I agree with that. I think once the bugs are taken care of, and the iPad stuff, the best way to ensure longevity of this game is to add more quests for people who've finished the game and side quests. I'm not even close yet, but the worlds big enough and varied enough that I'd gladly go back on some new quests, even I'd they were IAP. I don't think I'm the only one either. Maybe quest packs for certain classes. Like a rogue one that focuses on stealth and quick kills, or a warrior one that has you against really tough enemies.
