=oP Yeah, some really nice games so far - too bad only one of them is new for me... =oP Bought all the others, usually the day/week they were released. =oP
Feel sorry for Chaotic Box. Match Panic only got downloaded 7.5k times, but Tiny Defense got 151k times. Those both were told by the devs twitters btw.
Yeah, and it's been out longer, with loads of people supporting Chaotic Box by actually buying it when it came out. So loads of people already had it. =oP
*in before the whine* Seriously though, I know it's been free 3 times already, but Jo from Blacksmith Games was kind enough to have it again this year. So here we are I'm sure there must be 2 or 3 TAers who didn't try it already.
Totally didn't expect Trenches! The best yet! First time free, can't imagine where they go from here, hope they didn't peak too early.
Best Appvent ever! Combined with EA's daly deals and some other freebies this has been a good pre-holiday season. Evertales will be in 2 days through Appvent. I wonder when/if Gameloft will chime in. Also I am still hopeful for a sale from Square Enix for release if Chrono Trigger.
Get trenches quick... I remember reading on there blog or whatever its getting taken down when Trenches 2 comes out Edit: found it "Also, if you've thought about owning the original Trenches ... you'd better get it now. Once Trenches II goes live, Trenches will come down. They are quarreling brothers and nobody wants to see that disgraceful display."
Guys, that Trenches for Free was released somewhere in 2011 as a free app and faad featured it. Is it a lite or what? How does this compare to that?
You refer to Trenches Boot Camp, an always free trial/intro edition of Trenches (that it was featured by FAAD is a sham). The appvent calendar sponsored freebie is the full game free for the first time so more content.

A pot or can fills by 1/3 each time it is touched, and players can touch only one empty, neutral, or matching colored pot per turn. When a pot is full it overflows when touched, sending 1/3 of a can of paint into the neighbor cans, making them all the same color. Played against the machine or handed back and forth between two players, the game seems simple until a single move causes a chain reaction of overflows, suddenly turning an overwhelming lead into a hopelessly lost position. It is a fun game because it is filled with surprises and because of the sound effects and animation of splashing paint. Blotty Pots is an outstanding game because it successfully realizes a simple premise, making it an "easy to learn but difficult to master" pastime. Blottly Pots is a captivating game because, akin to checkers or draughts, it contains subtle complexities and can be played casually, seriously, or at competition levels."Blotty Pots has some similarities to the hit game Bubble Blast, because they both feature chain reactions that spread in four directions, but Blotty Pots is not a series of puzzles with unique solutions. It is an unpredictable, two-player game with an unlimited number of variations and possibilities for gameplay."Feature Highlights:* Score 1 point for each 1/3 of a pot of paint that goes into any pot during the player's turn* Winner is the player with the highest score at the end of the game* Game ends when one player has no possible play (all pots are the same color)* Paint cans or pots fill 1/3 at a time and then overflow in four directions* Play by turns* Single player game against the machine (Easy, Medium, Hard)* Two-player game, where players pass the iOS device back and forth* Start with 16, 25, or 36 blotty pots* Create a chain reaction when a full pot overflows and hits another full pot Information Seller: Genre:Puzzle, Strategy Release:Dec 06, 2011 Updated:Nov 30, -0001 Version: Size:0.0 TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating:Unrated Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal LOLavi Well-Known Member May 23, 2011 8,364 0 0 iPhone gamer Finland #99 LOLavi, Dec 11, 2011 No, I'm talking of 'Trenches Free For All' http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=88791 injuwarrior Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2011 1,502 0 0 USA #100 injuwarrior, Dec 11, 2011 The apps portion of apparent has been really lackluster, I was looking forward to that a lot this year.
