Gameloft is doing an Appvent calendar too. It's not for free games, though. It should start in a week or so.
Actually, last year I think Gameloft did do some sort of of Advent/Christmas calendar thing. There was a few free games and discounts mixed in if I remember correctly, but like 90% of it was just trailers for upcoming games and useless stuff.
Well, doubt there's a connection, but there's two EA games going free as we speak (Sims Medieval and Shift 2), so....
Yeah, I think on the first day they gave a wallpaper and the second day was a video of two guys in a car shop, by that time everyone was screaming mad. It was funny to watch everyone get so worked up about it. =)
Lol. I don't think anybody cares about that anymore, after the horrible blunder Gameloft did last year.
Nah, it wasn't that one. All of the sales literally lasted for 2 hours for Gameloft's 2009 advent calendar. Last year, they gave away a bunch of nonsense that weren't games as well. In 2009, every day's gift was a sale on a game.
That was that anniversary sale and it was like one or two hours a day and some were in middle of the night. That was a beast! Here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=54193&highlight=anniversary
Not sure which was uhm errr -- "better." A 2 hour per day sale (always in the middle of the night somewhere in the world!) or a non sale like game trailers etc.
There it is! Nice, guess it wasn't an advent event then. LOL 122 PAGES? Must be hell reading through the kind of comments in there.
I think I got ten out of twelve. The only time I've benefitted from being old and not being able to sleep through the night. =)
Too many events to keep track of!!!! But yeah it was the anniversary sale and yet it is easy to mix all this up! Still don't know which is "better."
