I heard rumors that Apple is counting not only your app ranking/popularity, name and keywords in search results and also in search suggestions but they also started to take in consideration how many external links point to your app from websites (review websites, blogs and etc). Does anyone know anything about that? I tried to get some information from services like AppCod.es but they seem not to know a lot. And I see myself that there are some news things that Apple counts. Because not always we see search suggestion or top position in search for the most popular/downloaded apps. Sometime less popular apps names show in search suggestion. Or maybe the total number of app ratings or total number of app downloads influence that too?
