I've had that problem in the past. Here is what the Dev sent me: First please make sure you are running the latest version. This should fix the problem. If it doesn't, then click on the AppSniper config tab and then "reset database". Resetting the database fixed it for me. I like many am getting tired of the fairly frequent crashes from this app. Additionally, with all the crap apps that are out there the 64 dev limit on "bans" has become limiting to the point where I rarely bother to run appsniper any longer. Far too many crap/repeat apps to have to look through. If I can have 8000+ records in my Bento DB on the phone why can't I at least hundreds of bans? Rich

well the developer never replied too me, and the only way i have got it reworking is a restore which of course lost everything of mine ! i like this and think its a shame the developer seems to have abandoned it
Although maybe not as useful, you can download any RSS feed reader application and just subscribe to feeds from various sites like appshopper. I find it sufficient enough to look up apps. And the ones you're really intent on, you tend to pay attention to anyhow, so the point of Appsniper doesn't change much.
I'm getting a little tired of AppSniper. Rarely does it correctly show me the newly released games. It gets the sales just fine, but I'd like to say it misses almost 75% of the newly released titles.
PANDORA BOX is better than app sniper and its free!!!!!!!! updates new games and sales over 3 times a day. i have saved over $13 in sales and apps going to free!!!!!!!!
A ton of new apps have shown up on appshopper, but none of them have shown up on AppSniper (since Saturday night)
I'm having this problem too. It sucks, but I was going crazy trying to figure out what was going on good to know its not just me.
Just started happening today: everytime I open up AppSniper it closes out instantly. I've done a hard reset and still get the problem. is this happening to anyone else?
SoCal yes, this is happening to me too. It's very annoying, the first thing I do when I get home from work is check for new apps or sales. Wonder what's going on. Glad to know it's not just me though, I thought about doing a restore from backup or something but I think I'll hold off on that for now.
used to use this every day - now hardly ever use it at all ! was not impressed about never recieving an answer from the dev... suspect this is one that is going to be deleted from my phone in the not too distant future
Been having the same issue as you guys. This seems to always happen after a holiday. I think the only way to fix this is to delete and reinstall Appsniper. Just did that and it worked for me.
Now Im having a bigger problem: I deleted the app and I cant download it again. When I go to the AppStore, it says "Installed," when I Sync it to my computer, it still wont put the app on. Ive done a hard reset and everything else. What can I do?
Does that make you lose all your snipes?? Cause I've never backed them up to the server or whatever, and I had quite a list going on my snipe list and my watch list. I don't think I could remember all the games I had on it! Damn you appsniper, why, WHY?!?
I emailed the developer and have not received a reply. Looking at the developers web site I would say they have merged, been sold or have quit. I also think the current version can't handle all the new traffic. The developer has a link to this thread. His lack of response is discourging. I know Arn has talked to him prior, can you shed any light on this? Thanks, Rad
Ugh. Same problem. They need to fix this ASAP. I'm not willing to uninstall/reinstall and lose all my snipes. Edit. And now I'm seeing that other people have also had the problem of not being able to find certain apps when you search. I think I'll be downloading Pandorabox.
