Hey I was wondering if anyone knew the html coding to the TouchArcade Appshopper(New Games) page or how to recreate that. I know it must be some sort of html coding and I would like to have that exact same thing on my blog. Any help would be appreciated.
I think it might be similar to the appinfo tag and be custom coded by the staff... if it is they're not gonna share it.
Ahh man... I actually sent a inquiry to AppShopper about that but havent gotten a response yet. Well maybe the TA staff will share.....
It's all proprietary, sorry bro. Although I've suggested that we bundle it all together to release as a public javascript thing (kind of like how WoWhead tooltips work- http://www.wowhead.com/tooltips ) but our development to do list is about six miles long and I can't imagine us ever having the time to do this.
Ah that sucks but thanks for the response. Do you know of any other recent sales thing like yours? Ive been looking for one for the whole day! I got tired of manually updating the sales myself lol.
Eh stuff like php scripts that work on a database parsed from the App Store isn't exactly something you're going to be able to download for free. AppShopper has been the result of close to three years of full time development.
Im not looking for php im looking for html code that just displays the sales on one page maybe even a widget would be good. Wow didnt know appshopper took that long! (sorry I have almost no coding knowledge so im not sure if php and html are the same or something)
