I tried to download apps on my 2nd Generation iPod Touch through Wi-Fi today and the icons appeared on my iPod. But they all say "waiting" and there is nothing I can do to delete them or finish downloading them. What should I do?

When I have had that happen, I just turn off the system. When I turn it back on the problem is solved.

This happened to me once- I started downloading an app, but my wifi died at that moment and so it got stuck. Try redownloading the app on your computer, then resyncing your ipod with that app. The icon should disappear.

Or...did you tap the icon when it was downloading? That pauses it. :p

I will have to try your ideas when I get a chance. I did not pause the app, but I see where you got that idea. Thanks for the help!

I have another question: if I connect my iPod to the same computer I have been using, but now with a different hard drive, will it copy or delete everything from my iPod?
