Anyone tried the new Sunvox version on a 4" device? It's not widescreen on my iPhone, it's all just shifted to the top leaving a 0.5" empty space both in portrait and landscape.
Just finished a test drive with SunVox new MIDI capabilities. Brilliant stuff! I couldn't get all the notes from SoundPrism Pro though, Just the tones.
$1.99 -> Free (for the first time and for a limited time). App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Discchord.com: "Turquoise is an iPad port of the Nintendo DS homebrew app of the same name, offering lots of drum synthesis in a small package. It has support for recording, which you can then AudioCopy/Paste, but no Audiobus implementation yet." Tested with AKG and Sennheiser headphones: Excellent sound!
I don't know if someone already mentionned it, but i've bought turnado recently, a new app which can be used as an effect in audiobus. It consist in 16 effects, like vocoder, filters, time strech and others, all customisables. They are very easy to use, with a xy touch interface, like a kaoss pad, and ... It's pretty funny! It's not cheap for an app, 14 euros, but for something useful and well made, it's a steal, IMO. It's audiocopy compatible, and audiobus too like i said.
There has been a lot of praise for this on the Audiobus forums. Too broke right now to pick it up myself.
For anyone trying to decide between LiveFX and Turnado (since they are sorta similar), do yourself a favor and get Turnado. It can do so much more and it got really extensive modulation options and tweakable effects. The $14.99 is a intro price, I think it will be 20 bucks after that, which still is an amazing deal considering it's the whole VST package, and more.

Thanks for the heads up. How bad can it be, it's only a buck so what the hell. I'm no DJ but if Audiobus is on it's way I'm guessing I can use it to mash up some of my own stuff. The only thing is if the only way of getting audio into it is via the iTunes music library, that would be a bit of a bummer. Edit: bought. I hope they add ACP and/or Audiobus output/record option.

Waldorf Nave submitted to Apple. Well, something is according to Rolf the dev (twitter). But it's Nave....I can feel it in me balls! By the way, Audulus on sale at 10 bux through June. Anyone tried this one? Do I need to be a scientist to make use of it? Is Sunvox a fair comparison (the modular environment)?

Checked about the half of the presets. A tiny bit more icy than Animoog; maybe the preset samples authors should make more use of the blades. Excellent graphics and sound (tested with reference earphones by Sennheiser and AKG and with a studio monitor JBL pa). Some glitches (crackles) when I run Propellerhead Figure and Nave connected by Audiobus (iPad 4); but when I close Figure it's flawless (need a more powerful iPad; maybe this will become better with iOS 7's brand new Inter-App Audio feature). Really pretty! An eldorado to look at! Pure hightech. Perfect and extensive illustrated documentation (checked the German-language PDF)! Incredible for a version #1.0. Clearly one of the best iOS wavetable synths with 3D Spectrum Editor (almost like a graphics editor). Fun without end for profs with highest expectations—and beginners without ANY music science knowledge: You can produce some fancy and very personal ringtones within minutes! Just use the heavy skeuomorphic 4-track recorder sim (almost like a fully featured wave editor), mixdown, and export to iTunes. BY FAR easier as the—comparatively abstract—PPG WaveGenerator. Game devs! Perfect for übercool game effect sounds! (And background music of course.) http://www.waldorf-music.info/en.html Highly recommended!
I've made a couple of presets and this thing can sound so phat and nasty, love it. Got the edge over Animoog in that compartment (and Animoog can certainly make some screaming fat sounds as well). Really nice touch to implement a speech synth, mucho fun to mess around with that one.
