Thanks for the headsup, Chris! I bought it right now. Made a short test w Sennheiser and AKG headphones & iPad 1 (orig.) + iPad 2 (latest iOS): Sounds awesome. Very good UI. Equipped with all bells and whistles.

    Highly recommended!

FourTrack has been my go-to app for quickly recording short demos of song ideas on my phone. However, those song ideas are now taking up 6 gb of space and I'm running low.

I have an iPad and have been considering purchasing StudioTrack. My question is, is there any cross functionality between StudioTrack and FourTrack? Is there a way to copy files from one to the other or anything like that?

I guess my other question would just be, is StudioTrack any good in general?

    Was $19.99, Now $9.99

Does anyone know if the MIDI component was already an IAP? Not sure if this is an awesome sale or just a purchase price shift.

App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.

You can record midi in Meteor but there's no piano roll/midi editor. You gotta buy that as IAP. Seems as most essential stuff for a multitrack/mastering app is IAP in Meteor. Making it a bit expensive (not counting this sale offer). All their apps are overpriced tho (by AppStore standards anyway).

Check out [app]csGrain[/app]. I'm having a blast with it. When you press and hold any knob, a randomization popover appears and you can really discover some madness. You can tweak songs from your iTunes library too.

    ITM Midilab is highly recommended!

It is a addictive app. I always use it when I am in the toilet. Hard to put down.

Yes! GarageBand is very fun and useful. The organs are some of my favorites with the drawbars, click and distortion knob.

Just picked up Addictive Synth last night. Looks like another synth I will integrate into my live rig.
