Visual metronome is very steady. I don't want to hijack this thread. In case I do that, please let me know. I have beatmaker and I would like to know how to use more than one set of pads to do a single piece. Is that possible? Instead of being limited to 16 samples, I could use 32 or even more. Thanks
I've been wondering the same thing ... if I find out I'll let you know ... otherwise I'll keep checking back here.
I just started using Beatmaker, so I'm not totally sure this is possible, but what if you created the first part of the track with the 16 pads that you have, export it, then import it as an individual sample and overdub it with the 15 leftover pads?
I did exactly the same thing Next thing is create some stuff with Noise and Beatmaker. There is a new appa called Star Guitar. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=307299031&mt=8 Has anyone tried to create different patterns? Is it possible?
Star Piano out! http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=313121172&mt=8 I got it because I can export to Beatmaker.
You might want to check our upcoming app Melodica: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVZMaXMNz-0 Perfect for music lovers!
I finally bit the bullet and bought Noise.io after being tempted for ages. I'm no synth virtuoso, in fact I have very little idea what I'm doing, but what an awesome program. Before this the only music program I bought was iDrum Ministry of Sound Anthems edition, which is still fun and something I reccomend to any fan of electronic music, but Noise.io is absolutely insane. Maybe next I'll actually be able to bring myself to buy Beatmaker...
Star Melody has just joined the family of Star Guitar, Star Piano and Noise.io which all integrate with Beatmaker. I have the others so it was an easy decision to get Star Melody. It's awesome! http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=313550278&mt=8
No video yet .... but I might be able to do one this weekend and put on my blog. I just hate doing videos of music apps because I kinda suck ... especially when doing a video.
Is StarMelody a more complex version of Bloom? That would be crazy... Also you guys should check out Jasuto, it's still rough but I hear it's amazing if you know what you are doing: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=310874741&mt=8
I guess in a way you could call Star Melody a more complex version of Bloom. Thanks for the tip on Jasuto ... I'm going to try it out. Of course I don't know what I'm doing .... but I love to learn so I'm hoping for a challenge. Also the 1.2 update just came out for Chordica which should make this app more appealing. Still waiting for Melodica to be released.
Jasuto is definitely nuts, it might not be meant for beginners like me but between this and Noise.io, it's great trying to learn the hard way. I have been playing around with that and Star Piano recently. I'm not sure about Chordica yet.
Chordica uses a "scoreless music method" which I think was invented by the developer of this app who has several tutorials on youtube. It's a way to teach music without letters representing chords or notes. I've plugged my iPhone into Garageband and made some loops to export as WAVS and then into Beatmaker. It's OK but I'm looking forward to this 1.2 update ... I think it will be more useful now. I'll post later today on my attempts to understand Jasuto.
Tone Matrix just released in the app store. Looks exactly the same as the yet unreleased Melodica. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=313541123&mt=8 Here's the link to Melodica's youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVZMaXMNz-0
