I can't seem to find any documentation as to how large our Application's home directory can be. I'd like to save some files to my /tmp folder to use in the future, but I'm not sure how much space each app is allowed. Reading the Apple docs, I see various home directories described (tmp/cache/etc) but no mention of size.
As far as I know there's no limit there, other than space left on the device. If your app use a lot I'm sure apple reserve the right to reject the application though so it's probably good to try to keep it down as much as possible.
max size for an app is 2 GB...so unless you're making CS4 for the iPhone, you have nothing to worry about
