I think a kid should be able to express his thoughts in his own way. Teaching them manners is one thing, no one wants their children swearing at teachers or grandparents, but to each other? Let 'em use the language they deem appropriate or the language "everyone else" uses. If a parent is really that anal about stopping kids even writing down their thoughts in a "colourful" manner using words they're already familiar with then perhaps they ought to look into some kind of brain control technology, spy on their minds 24/7 and clean out the trash at their leisure.
