The additions really add value to that product. It's nice to see more differentiation in iPad from the iPod touch and iPhone. Although I doubt the power difference will last long as I can see the latter two using A5. I'm on the fence about it still, but it seems like a very worthy purchase compared to the other tablets coming onto market. BTW, HDMI out makes me think that Apple KNOWS there's a market for apps on HDTVs. And that makes it seriously odd that they aren't doing all they can with Apple TV. It really should be a standalone product rather than a "gateway" for the mobile and tablet iOS devices, and should be running specs similar to NGP (quad core processors) as battery drain isn't an issue with a product used in homes. It's almost like they're approaching things backwards, not realizing the thing that would make it different from GoogleTV and Roku and the rest is the App Store, and having it's own exclusive apps compared to the mobile and tablet devices would make it more enticing to more consumers.
For the same reason most celebs do: because they can. Besides, Steve's got enough cash to dress however he wants if it makes him comfortable. And it's also part of his image. It'd be kinda strange to see him in a suit, honestly. It just ain't him.
From what I saw listed it only supports Ipad Iphone (GSM) << not even sure which one this is Ipod Touch 3rd and 4th GEN So I think they have stopped supporting the older models now but I'm just guessing.
