Maybe thats not such a bad thing... Virtual D-Pads are always worse than real ones so maybe developer will find more natural and innovative control schemes and therefore new gameplay ideas... If you want a game depending on oldskool d-pad controls, get a psp or whatever.
No, and that's despite what some here may think about my views on the product. Maybe I haven't made it clear, so I'll do so now: It's not a "bad" product. It will have its uses, and it will find its audience. My issue is that I don't believe that audience will be anywhere near substantial enough to label this thing "revolutionary" in terms of impact on the market in the future. The audience buying this thing will be niche. A profitable niche, but not a very large one. And so it will be a minor success, but not a major earth shattering one like iPhone/touch.
Yeah, it does. I was just listing the positive points of the device in my eyes; what I would buy it for, in other words.
Apple Employee: iPad, kinda sounds like iPod. Good, right? Rest of the world: No not at all you slut you named your device after a tampon.
Ugh I was just watching AOTS and they had some crappy experts who spent more time complaining about AT&T and the amount of memory than actually talking about it.
