A long time ago my computer crashed, and I had forgot to back up all my purchases. A couple of weeks ago I sent them an email as a complaint via checking your purchase history on itunes. I just simply stated that I had not backed up my files and lost my purchases.

This morning I wake up, open itunes and BAM, all the stuff I had lost appeared in my downloading queue!

Unless I got it wrong, I was pretty sure they didn't let you re-download things. Anyone else ever encounter this?

I thought it was all linked to your itunes account, so if you purchase it you can re download it at any time as long as your logged into that account.

Nope, it has always been like this as far as I know. You can download your apps as many times as you want for free after you've purchased it.

I knew you could do it with apps, but all my music was back too, I didn't know they did it with the music too.
